Well that was interesting. I felt a bit sorry for England, because they were so shit and battled/fluked their way through for so long I was sure they would steal the game on pens.

Italy would only have had themselves to blame, but it reminded me of Juve against a mid table side, being wasteful and almost deserving to get a kick up the arse for doing so.

But Pirlo was an absolute maestro again. Why England stood off him all game I don't know, but he ran the show.
