Dynamo Kiev - Villarreal 0 - 0
Grazer - Middlesbrough 2 - 2
Kuban CSKA Moscow - Benfica 2 - 0
Fenerbahçe - Zaragoza 0 - 1
Alemannia Aachen - Alkmaar 0 - 0
Basel - Lille OSC 0 - 0
Abe Lenstra Heerenveen - Newcastle United 1 - 2
Olympiacos - FC Sochaux 1 - 0

Nothing special though, I think that Valencia will lift the UEFA Cup trophy tis season again

With Ranieri at the helm?Nah.One loss would be enough to seal their fate and Valencia have become increasingly inconsistent because of the Italian's tinkering and stubborn refusal to play Aimar.

Yup, all results r the 1st league.

@ Desmond: Yea I agree with u, some1 has mentioned about Aimar playing time in Valencia ever since Ranieri's arrival. I don't understand wad Ranieri is thinking. There r couple of good strikers, and their r other outstanding players in Valencia, yet he failed to fully maximise their potential. In addition, Di Vaio, their best striker can't be sure that he would be playing for the upcoming match. However I sitll think that Valencia can win the competition. It depends on how Ranieri handles his players.

I think the winner of this season's competition will come from the Ajax-Auxerre game.
Outside that it is Valencia.

i saw the steaua valencia game,
velencia played really bad,
they had the excuse of the muddy terain but young cristea wont mind to get dirty.
corradi did nothing aimar wasnt a starter, neither di vaio(who lost the decisive penalty).

Anyone has the new pairs?

poor guy

He should be sacked long ago...I don't know y he is so hesistant in playing Aimar + Di Vaio every game and uses squad rotation for the attackers time and time again.

I would love to see Parma take the cup. I don't see it as even close to likely, but who knows -- it might be one way to help salvage a relegation-threatened Serie A season for them.
