It's over and out for belgium clubs.

After Anderlecht poor showing in the CL (0points), and the predictable elimination of Beveren (0 points) in UEFA, the two last belgian clubs were eliminated from european football;

Brugge drawed 1-1 vs Zaragoza, while Standard was trashed at home by Bilbao (1-7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    They're the best team left. bit I'd give a chance to Ajax, Feyenoord, Newcatsle and Fenerbahçe IMO
    :wth:

    Feyenoord stink, Ajax are off-form. If success (and that being a quarterfinal or semifinal place) is coming to a Dutch team it will be AZ if they get a lucky draw.

    Heerenveen are impressive this year, but nowhere near good enough to get past Newcastle Utd.

    A Dutch victory is unlikely this year.

    Come on mate, don't be naive. There's no questioning his abilities (we've all seen them at the WC) but you can't draw any other conclusion but that he failed in Holland.

    I know I know, just hard for me to swallow, since he's one of my favourite Korean players. He had such a good start aswell, even getting 2 assists on his debut. It was encouraging to see him playing 90 minutes regularly too, but he totally fell out of favour as soon as Gullit came in :down:
