BTW Cigarini is a real waste of space. Never managed to impress me.

D'Agostino is light years ahead of him.
Yep! D'Agostino >>>>>>>>>>>>>Cigarini.

I thought Cigarini faded in the 2nd half. I gave him a 6.0. I'm just running through a replay of the game. With 6 mins left to play, Paolo had run almost a kilometre more than Cigarini!

Cigarini is the shit and he showed it with Atalanta this season.Napoli are lucky to get such a player.
 Cigarini is quite good and very young... he will be an excellent player.

He had a pretty solid game against us late in the year...

I think that we (all of us here, including myself) over-hype these Italian yougsters.
I mean, they are good, some of them really good, but we know all of them, we watch them because we follow serie A, they are Italians so they're given chances to play for famous Italian clubs, and when we compare them with, lets say, Serbian guys that we never heard about, we think they are better and they should be favorites.

But in reality, the young players coming from Serbia, or the other ex-Yu countries, are at least just as talented as their Italian counterparts. The difference is that they don't have the same conditions to develop as the Italians, they aren't Italian, English or Spanish in order to be given a chance to play for the best teams in serie A, La Liga and EPL (unless they're extremely talented) and that way learn from superstars like Del Piero, Ronaldo, Messi, or be coached by the best coaches, so they remain unknown and it also reflects in their careers because they start with a handicap and they have to work twice harder than the Italians in order to earn a place in a famous club in a strong league. Most of them can't do it and only the best , like Vidic or Boban or Savicevic, will make it to the top leagues, unlike the Italians who will all get to play in serie A.

Some might say that the Italians would have looked different if Rossi and Santacroce played (they are eligible to play). But don't forget that Serbs were without any strikers today (all injured) and without players like Subotic (Dortmund), Kolarov (Lazio), Kuzmanovic (Fiorentina), Rajkovic (Twente/Chelsea) etc.
That's bullshit, you know damn well that Italien blood is superior but you didn't know how to hide your feelings.

    Of course :D

Btw, we might witness interesting development in this group where Italy is.
In the next round it's Serbia-Belarus and Sweden-Italy.
The Serbs should beat Belarus. If that happens then the Italians mustn't lose because in the last round a draw will suit Sweden and Serbia in their match in order to eliminate Italy.

But there is an even more interesting scenario, like EURO 2004.
If Serbia beats Belarus and Sweden-Italy ends 1:1, then Sweden and Serbia will need a 2:2 in the last round and Italy will be eliminated in the mini table. If Sweden-Italy ends 0:0 then Sweden-Serbia will need a scoring draw in order to eliminate Italy.

Tough situation for the Italians. They must go for the win against Sweden because everything else might easily see them eliminated.

    Consigli
    Motta Bocchetti Andreolli Criscito
    Marchisio Cigarini De Ceglie
    Giovinco
    Balotelli Acquafresca

I think. Not entirely sure how the forwards are going to line up.
