How did Spanish football get so good yo, they used to be the biggest chokers. Now they're having the greatest period any nation has ever seen.
besides CL, english, italian, german teams are not giving a single fuck about eu, cause for big clubs CL>domestic league>domestic cup=domestic league, for mediocre clubs domestic league is even more vital, for example Augsburg almost relegated because of their participation in the EL

I don't think I've seen such a clueless half from a team in a final before. Does Klopp even have a plan B?

The left backs of both sides were useless, and unprotected.

Glad Sevilla won the cup, totally deserved based on their amazing 2nd half performance. But it could've been a completely different story had the ref awarded a clear penalty to Liverpool when they were 1-0 up.

Wasn't that big penalty shout at 0-0?
I think Liverpool wanted two penalties. The first when it was 0-0 for handball (not deliberate) + Alleged foul on Firmino. The second when it was 1-0 when Sturridge's key pass was clearly intercepted by a moving hand.

The second incident was a clear-cut penalty IMO.

It's more to do with Serie A and the PL sucking than Spain being good imo. Not to mention, you would sometimes have teams from Portugal, Netherlands, Ukraine etc who would win the UEFA Cup from time to time, but not anymore.
