Gerrard's made bigger penalties and scored bigger goals. But yeah I agree he's a better penalty taker than Henderson. Then again if it's set up before the match that Henderson takes the penalty, Mario should probably obey the manager's wishes. Still glad to see him score another winner.
Fuck no. That would kill football. Just imagine: everyone hates Balotelli. Then this fucker comes on and Liverpool get one chance to win the game and what does he do? He snatches the ball away from the rightful penalty taker and buries it himself. It was awesome. Also, it was set up that way before the game because Balo was on the bench. Obviously your no. 1 penalty taker cannot be on the bench, that would make no sense.

Also, fuck Henderson.

I havent seen Lallana getting any wake the fuck up or being publicly told to work harder or being given half of the attention that balotelli got. Lallana has been far from solid especially for a mega transfer. I really disagree on everyone getting an equal share of public criticism from Rogers but I wont argue for it because that would involve looking up articles and things I am too lazy to do.

.
Lallana is also a fragile player who got where he is now through hard work and dedication. No reason to publically humiliate someone like that when things aren't going well. Lallana gives it all he's got.

Balo on the other hand is massively talented, but doesn't give a fuck. He obviously does need wake up calls.

Rogers was on Balo's ass since day one. The guy didnt even have a pre-season and he wasn't in his best form when he was bought.
When your team is in free fall and you come out to criticize the new guy by name then you are scapegoating him. Even Milan was blaming their season on him and declared that Balo will free them and shit like that.
The guy is a retard but he also gets attacked in a very disproportionate manner. Milan especially had no right to complain he was the only one performing on the team.

When did Henderson turn into some experienced leader? He never showed any leadership skills as a young player.
Around the time English football fans decided to collectively shut their eyes, disregard reality and decide that he was a good player.

So, if those fans behaved, there would be no need to have or have not confidence in them.
I am quite obviously not saying the Feyenoord fans did nothing wrong.

Fair enough, let's just say that I have more confidence in the police in Rome then in the Feyenoord "fans"

Come on, you ain't going to blame this on the Italians.
Feyenoord "fans" are well known for their aggressive behavior.
This is just disgusting, you don't damage stuff, especially not the historical items in Rome.
Bunch of idiots, nothing more to say about those "fans"
Yeah, definitely too far taking a big chip out of the fountain by the steps. By all means travel to see your team play and I can even understand fighting with opposing fans if both groups are up for a fight, but mindless vandalism is something you should be well past by the time you're old enough to get on an aeroplane by yourself. Especially not something of such historical value.

What's even worse is that ofcourse there will be payback and soon other 'fans' will pick this shit up.
What's the fun of destroying things i will never understand...

:agree:

I hate Roma, but I would never like to see our fans go there and smash up historical monuments. Absolutely disgusting and disrespectful as well. Those Feyenoord fans are a pack of pigs, I'm glad the cops (and a few Roma ultras) gave them a good kicking.

I have to say, I wasn't his biggest fan, but he's really developed into a good player over the last few seasons.

You leave your "best penalty taker" on the bench when he's been pants for most of the season and Sturridge is available.

No, I meant that Balo cannot be No.1 on the board because he's on the bench. Obviously Rodgers won't say he will take the PK's, if he isn't even starting.

Oh ok, I get what you mean. I'm actually fine with him taking the penalty. He needs the confidence. But people shouldn't be surprised when he gets some stick going against what the manager set up.

Oh wait. English footballs fans with passion.

Is this a blast from the past or people just a bunch of biased nerds without knowledge of English football?
