hey guys. ive just came from ttarena and want to give a brief info about trabzonspor.

firstly, onur kıvrak is a special gk. as u see in highlights @FrozenEmrahl's post, he can make some critical saves. for example,
but he is weak at crosses and corners.

They have far better set piece organisations compared to us (galatasaray).
we dont have good wingers, but they have some skilled and short wingers.

today's match isnot a good criterion, because of foreign limitation, we are not very well but also not bad like this.

i wish good luck to juve. if u take the round serious, trabzon is not a opponent for u.

best wishes.

Hello everyone. Here speaks a Trabzon fan. Well, actually I'm not that much into football to be classified as a fan of any team but Trabzon is the team I have some symphaty for.
I just wanted to ask you if you are aware of the match fixing scandal in Turkey in 2011 and the hypocracy shown by the executives of UEFA.
As you probably know, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş were suspended from European club competitions for 2 and 1 years, respectively.
However the teams were neither stripped of their titles they have won in that period, nor they have faced any penalty such as being relegated to the 2nd Division or some of their points being deducted in the national league.
According to the regulations, if a team is proven to be guilty, UEFA has the right to enforce national federations to take action.
It seems unfair that these two teams remain untouched compared to what Juventus went through in 2006-2007.
There are many more things to specify but this is a quick summary of the situation.

I wish you good luck in the two matches.
But more luck to the underdogs :)

Another invasion begins! :snoop:

No seriously, welcome to the forum!
Don't get upset if some members don't really appreciate you, there have been some slightly negative experiences with fans from Turkish clubs we were playing against ;)

To the match fixing scandal: I've heard of it, mainly in context with the suspension of the two clubs you mentioned, but do not know enough to really comment on it. Calciopoli has made me wary of medias reports concerning such scandals, and I don't want to judge them based on what I read on the newspapers.

We can potentially match up against Fiorentina if we both advance from the knockout stage?

That sucks...
