Cardozo is not the best player in Benfica this season, he been injured 4 months and he is not on top of form...
The best player in Benfica this season in attack is Rodrigo .
Rodrigo :tuttosport:

how has Guilherme Siqueira fitted into the team? he is owned by Granada which is owned by udinese.

And you talked the goalkeeper...
The goalkeeper of Benfica in AZ game and PAOK game is not a same goalkeeper of Benfica in championship...
The goalkeeper of Benfica in championship is Oblak 21 years old and the goalkeeper of Benfica in AZ game and PAOK is Artur 31 years old.
I don't know which will be the choice of Benfica coach for Juventus...

looks like benfica won´t have to play between the two games against juve
As if Juve will even show up for that match anyway. :p

Garay and Luisao are perhaps my vote for the strongest CB pairing in Europe. They're strong, intimidating, a solid partnership, and both can destroy you on set pieces.

The only team we should really fear in this competition is JUVENTUS.

If we show up with the will and proper mentality..like when wefaced real madrid... we cannot be stopped. But if we show up with our current pussy football and energy saving mentality... i dont see us going thru.

Nowadays every team plays against us like if they just started the season...while we play like having played4 months everyday nonstop.

How can Benfica be favourites when the bookmakers, the coaches and players have us as the favourites.

Dont be silly. EVERYONE and their mommas would put us as favourites with their eyes closed. We have Buffons, Vidals, Pogbas, Pirlos an Tevez!!. MAN HOW CAN WE LOSE????.

But theres a dirty little secret that just Tuzzers know, a secret that is kept away from normal human beings outside the tuz world....and that secret is that WE ARE PLAYING LIKE SHID, and we are living just by our name and hype we created upon ourselves as italian champions.

We need to beat this guys with football and not with names.

Because the bookmakers are wrong. They tend to confuse media coverage for quality.

I can't see Juve scoring an away goal without some luck. That creates a real challenge on the return leg for us, because we're not going to put up 3 goals against Benfica, and clean sheets are hard to bank your future on in a matchup of this magnitude.

I guess I do prefer that we play Benfica with home and away legs, rather than risk facing them in the Final. If we managed to make it in the final and faced Benfica there, our track record is almost as bad as Benfica's at losing in big final matches. I'd rather potentially face one of the Spanish sides for that match anyday, should it happen.

If we can't even win the UEFA Cup this season, we should change our targets to CL in the future to just group stage participation.
