How can anyone Chelsea fan claim that there was a conspiracy against their team when the referee sent off a Barca player for breathing on Anelka when Chelsea were 1-0 up?

Are the conspiracy theorists claiming that the referee knew that Barcelona were due for a last-minute goal to send them through? Gimme a break...

Second time in a row Barca are "gifted" the ticket to da final, no?
Remember Shevchenko's cancelled goal at Nou Camp, back in 2006?
However, I didn't complain then, and I won't now...

Since September 2007 Ronaldo > Kaka

In general Ronaldo is better than Kaka at everything except through passes.
Ronaldo is definitely not better in dribbling. I consider him to be a good dribbler at most.

His heading and eye for goal is good though. Manchester United's type of play also means that everyone is dangerous so Ronaldo has more space.

Over 40 goals in almost as many games last season, over 100 goals already for MU since joining in 2003. He's a winger. Meh, his eye for goal is alright :D
I'd say his eye for goal is bloody phenomenal. C'mon, don't be homophobic.
I hate to say it, but Ronaldo might very well be the most complete player since Zinedine Zidane (no weaknesses really), Goddammit even Zizou had a weakness -- lacked speed.

He didn't know that Barcelona were due for a last-minute goal but denying two penalties for Chelsea surely kept Barcelona hanging in there for any minute goal. Here, you got a break.

Only one was a penalty, the other was 50-50... and before all of that happened he gave a red card to Abidal when Anelka tripped over...

Blah blah blah... blah blah blah... bunch of pussies who cry that their preferred style of play for Juventus was beaten as usual. Just face it... it's dumb to play like Chelsea does, referee or no referee.

Get it straight. You can't be a bunch of pussies if you want to win the CL, and Chelsea were just that. They were never that great, and we should have beat them, but we suck ourselves, because we can't out-do them in their pathetic game.

Get over it, and stop fucking crying Alen.

And yes, you're biased just as the rest of us, so don't act like you're not. You've been truly pathetic the last three weeks and I've lost a lot of respect for you.

The bottom line is that the referee fucked up the match like everytime Barcelona are "needed" in the final. In 2006 it was done twice, one time against Milan and the second time in the final. Now this.

Jack, Eboue dived in the final and was awarded a penalty. You're just not able to be respected in this discussion, and it's too bad. Give it up already.

completely agree Andy
there are well-respected members here who have completely lost their objectivity and cool after the Chelsea-Barca game.
It should be easier to discuss a game where we have absolutely no interest in but for some mysterious reason some of us are unable to do so.
as Juve fans we aren't in the best of spirits but better get your act together cause some of the posts here were uncharacteristic and even laughable at times

Again, I reiterate, the reason why these people can't stand this is because Chelsea beat us and we try to play similar to them, so they naturally want Chelsea to win because it makes us look better. And hence makes them feel better. They will deny it all the time, just like the fact that we haven't been all that good, but that's the irrational human psyche. The pathetic, naturally inane human psyche that needs to grow up.
