I can't think of another game which its final outcome was effected by a lame referee like this game.

that makes sense, those damn people on the internets are rather obnoxious the thing is, for me, while people like that tend to make their club unattractive, i usually judge the person to be obnoxious, not the club. inter fans aside

as for more than a club, well, barcelona is a club that more than most is a symbol for it's region, among other things

And frankly not really something I would pay attention to if it wasn't for all these yuppie "alternative" types who take on the cause of some remote entity that they know very little about and form a cultural connection with it that forms their "identity".

is it pretentious from a catalan? not really, but I agree the "alternative" types, can't STAND that! unfortunately it's very common to find people like that in NY, although, it being america, it usually doesn't involve football. hipsters, they're called, amalgating bits and pieces from other cultures because they have no identity of their own.
