I'd take Carvalho, Bosingwa, or Agger ahead of both Drogba and Torres.

Agger is quality, as a Juve fan I'd be thrilled to get him, his distribution is better than any CB i've ever seen, he's strong in the air, can actually run with the ball, and can shoot. as a Liverpool fan, I'd be pissed as hell!

Yeah, we were able to find out where they were staying simply by calling around to the top hotels in DC. We called the Mandarin and asked for various people including a Cole, sure enough the operator said oh yes, we have a Joe and Charlton Cole, so Burke patched through to Joe's room. Burke said he knows he's been fucking Glenn Johnson, we don't do that shit here, and if you touch Freddy Adu we're gonna have to knife you.

We didn't think Joey got the message but when Burke asked him after the match, "did you get a dodgy voicemail last night?", the guy responded by saying, "was that you mate?"

Best plot ever. :lol2:

Funniest thing i've heard in a while!

Got to laugh at Liverfool!

It still suprises me how many Juventus "fans" support Liverpool too.
I, for one, would support any team over them, as most other fans I know in Italy would too.

I dare say you come off a tiny bit biased. So pool should be proud of going down while chelski, handling them elegantly, shouldn't? Somehow that doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Again in these situations some people come up with this theory that if you put everything on the line and lose then you were "brave". Whereas if you tried to play safe and hope for a few flashes along the way then you deserve nothing but scorn. From a neutral observer point of view that may be sensible, but as far as strategy goes, only that is good which succeeds.

Is this the anti Italy NT argument again? Cause it seems familiar.
No i was talking about that second leg solely. Chelsea have nothing to be proud of, they had a 2 goal advantage and they scored 3 away from home. Yet Liverpool almost beat them at their own turf. I would be worried if i were a Chelsea fan. 3 days ago Bolton almost engineered a comeback in the last 15 minutes coming from 4 down against Chelsea. Today Liverpool almost engineered a comeback coming from a two goal margin(Chelsea winning 3-1 at Anfield). If anything these are worrying signs for Chelsea, how can you not see that?

Having said that, if i were to be completely fair to Chelsea, of course they have something to be proud of over the two legs, they beat Liverpool at Anfield, not many teams can do that. When i said they had nothing to be proud of, i was talking solely about yesterday's game.

Sorry, the first and the second goal Chelsea scored tonight had absolutely nothing to do with Liverpool being outnumbered by Chelsea players.
Anelka and Drogba created the first goal out of nothing. It was a stupid owngoal by Reina actually.
The second goal was a free kick from 1000000 kms, going in the center of the goal.

Even the third goal.....it happened while all Liverpool players were at the back, but Xabi decided to pass the ball, 16m from the goal, to the Chelsea player that was in the best position to pass.
And why were Pool pushed at the back for the third goal? Weren't they the team that was supposed to attack?

All three goals were Pool players big mistakes. Maybe not as funny mistakes as Cechs mistake for Pool's first goal, but they were funny mistakes in any case.

Add the great set-piece defending from the first match and you'll realize that Pool's awful defending, worse than Chelsea's defending, was the reason why they lost the tie.
I'm not talking about the first leg at all. Liverpool were poor in the first leg and Chelsea were brilliant, like i said above not many teams can beat Liverpool at Anfield. Certainly not in the CL. But i was talking about yesterdays game.

Also, i never said the first goal was due to them being outnumbered at the back. Your right about the second goal though, my mistake there.

I don't remember a single match between Chelsea and Pool where i was a Pool "fan".
And this includes the 2005 semi. The same season when Liverpool beat us. (luckily Liverpool won the semi)

So no, i prefered Chelsea not because they beat us but because i like them more than Liverpool.

P.S: And why would i cheer for Liverpool? Why did you cheer for Liverpool? You and Fred certainly sounded like a "bunch of Pool fans". Why?
Oh come on you know thats not true. Bring me one post where i cheered for Liverpool. I couldn't give two damns about who won the game. Giving credit where its due does not equal supporting.

That CL trophy in 2005 was sweet, and i thank Liverpool for that, but after May 2005 Liverpool won nothing in 4 seasons (ok, some English Cup in 2006). If you fail to win a trophy this year, and it looks that way, then Liverpool will have 3 absolutely trophyless seasons.
I see no reason why my team should be like Liverpool. Juve aren't winning, but we shouldn't aim to be like other teams who can't win anything.

Btw, Drogba >Torres.
This is a serious question Alen, i don't mean this in any bad way honestly. But, do you watch the EPL? Because pretty much all your conclusions on EPL players indicate that you don't really watch the league. I could be wrong though and you just have some strange opinions, so please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

The Drog has been mediocre for much of the season, granted he was injured for long periods but so was Torres. Drogba has a grand total of 4 goals, and other than the past 5-6 games he has always been mediocre this year. But two good games in the CL and all of a sudden he's better than a world class striker such as Torres.

Ever since Torres's arrival to the EPL he has been a much better player and striker than Drogba. No two ways about it.

Both guarantee many goals. Torres is amazing, but Drogba....ahhhhh. No defender in the world can stop Drogba.
You mean other than Hull City, Man United, Liverpool(in the league) and Fulham defenses. Those are just off the top of my head.

But pretty much evry defense has stopped Drogba up until the past 5-6 weeks.

yeah yeah yeah, feck off

that was @ bianconero btw
It is just my viewpoint, no need to get offensive, was there.

All I know is that, among Juventus supporters I have rubbed shoulders with, in bars, on the streets, and in stadiums, Liverpool are the most hated team out there. So the idea of "fans" supporting both is odd. If you do, well good luck to you, but just don't wear your Liverpool shirt around the streets if Torino.

Torres and Drogba are both offered to Juventus: the fees have been agreed, but they can only afford one of them: your choice which to take.

Torres, without a doubt.
