You were celebrating Liverpool's goals like crazy. You were celebrating Torres' opening goal last week and you said "FUCK" when Ivanovic equalised.
You were obviously pro-Liverpool and you were going to take delight in seing Pool progress.
Now, you might have been delighted not because Liverpool progressed but because Chelsea were eliminated. But how do you know that the "bunch of Chelsea fans" here aren't celebrating Pool's elimination more than they're celebrating Chelsea's progress?
I was trying to egg people on, just like Jack does with Barcelona.

Everybody here knows I hate both teams. But I don't want to see another Chelsea - Manure final for football's sake. And I also know for a fact some people here wanted Chelsea to win just because they beat us, something I cannot stand.

But what's all this bullshit of the "juve point of view"?

Liverpool played Chelsea today. Unless our board bet on a Chelsea victory, I don't see why it should affect us.
Heysel tragedy is supposed to make one hate Liverpool from a Juve point of view. Chelsea knocking us out of CL (unlike what Andy believes) is supposed to make one hate Chelsea from a Juve point of view.

Btw, Seven, you don't plan to continue with your history studies?
Not at the moment. Law's pretty tough though, I have to say. I've always found history fascinating, but I cannot see myself become a scolar or anything of the sort. The only job I truly see myself doing is journalism, because I've got "a good pen" as they say in Dutch.

And like i was doing to you with Tiago and Xabi? :D

Btw, i'm pro-Chelsea in the semi, so we might have more interesting conversations here. And if it's a Chelsea-ManU or Chelsea-Arsenal final, i will be pro-Chelsea again :p

The only way we'll support the same club is if Porto or Villareal play Chelsea in the final.

It's really absurd but it's not true generally. I hate both Chelsea and Liverpool but sometimes during the match I felt that I had a soft spot for Pool only because we were eliminated by Chelsea.

You also have brilliant logic and talent to solve puzzles and connect the dots, so you may be a very good scolar. But i don't know if you're workaholic enough to do it.

You raise a good point. I feel that a lot of scolars think about their subject non stop. Which is something I can't do. And then there's the lack of recognition. I admit it, I'm vain.

But I've experienced that when I write short stories (this will probably sound very strange to everyone on the forum) I get a lot of attention. Not so when I talk about an article.

I think it's just the natural human reaction for some.

Well of course I wouldn't want to see Manure win the final again. But if it's the same final as last year I may not even bother to watch it.

whats really funny is juventus fans making fun of: defensive slipups, overrun midfield and headless chicken play
:lol2:

Now that's funny.

Aha, what i like the most is the work in the foreign archives and discovering something new. That experience is priceless. But as a journalist you might experience the same, although from what i can get here, you're not interested in that kind of journalism.

Wish you luck in any case. I'm sorry you won't continue with history because you'd have had a bright future in that department, but whatever you choose i'm 100% sure you'll do great.
Just keep quiet in front of the muslims and you'll be fine. :p

But we can at least make fun of keeper mistakes, can't we? :D
actually thats the point, besides those mistakes(though i dont think reina was at fault in the 1st goal), this game was more of a coaching duel the inclusion of Anelka turned the game around while rafa's subs and tweaks didnt prove to be as effective. ii have always been a doubter of guus, i have been wrong.

I think Guus is great and that's why he's my pick for next manager as long as he can break away from Chelsea and Russia. Not likely, but anything is possible.

The introduction of Anelka was more a result of Kalou's criminally weak performance.
But it was still a brave and smart move and Guus is indeed a very good tactician.
