And if they play like they played all season long, they might even be humiliated by Villareal.

My odds for the outright winner of the CL would be:
1. Liverpool 4.00
2. Manchester United 4.00
3.
Barcelona 5.00

4. Chelsea 6.00
5. Bayern 10.00
6. Villareal 20.00
7. Arsenal 25.00
8. Porto 30.00
that top 3 is spot on, interchangeable but spot on

pool and barca seem more predatory atm than utd

So this will be the 3rd final in Rome eh, it must be the record, no?

What's up with that? Olimpico is a pretty shitty stadium IMO.
4th final actually. Liverpool won it in Rome two times. Once in 1977 and once in 1984. We won it in 1996 and this will be the 4th one.

The Italians held the final 4 more times. San Siro was the stadium for the final match in 1965, 1970 and 2001, while a little surprisingly, Red Star won it in 1991 at stadio San Nicola in Bari (it was a new and very nice looking stadium though, with capacity close to 60 000. Opened in 1990 for the WC).

Once again the draw is rigged. Manure gets the easiest pick of the bunch Porto once again, Liverpool and Chelsea get to bore the hell out of everybody for yet another two matches, and Villareal get to play Arsenal once again.

Screw UEFA. This is BS.

How do they do it? What is your theory on this, Mr. Conspiracy?
Must be some Copperfield stuff.

Fair enough.

But still as you said, you shouldn't underestimate Villareal.
Definitely.

8. Porto 30.00
Actually if you're going to go by that logic. Then i think i can safely say that if we played like we have all season and Villareal played like they have all season. We'd win it without a shadow of a doubt. You do know that we're talking about a team that has conceded 37 goals in 27 games.

Did you see their game against Athletico last week? Their defense is woeful.

I don't watch the Portuguese league, but i doubt Villareal are a better team than Porto is. I also don't understand what you're basing your opinion on Villareal on. You're putting them above Arsenal and Porto on the basis of what exactly?

I believe that Porto doesn't stand a chance against Manchester. I see Porto as the only team sure to be eliminated in this round. That's why i found it logical to put them on the last place.

Arsenal and Villareal, eventhough big outsiders against Manchester, could still hurt the Mancs and they proved this year that they can do it. Arsenal beat ManU 2:1 while Villareal played 0:0 on the last 4 matches against ManU, and what's much more important, this current team of Villareal was the same one that played 0:0 with ManU twice this season. When was the last time some team (especially with such an awful defense, as you say) managed to hold ManU goalless in 180 consecutive minutes?

So, i explained why did i put Villareal above Porto. Now i will tell you why did i put them above Arsenal.
I see these teams more or less at equal level. Sure, an Arsenal in top form, with Fabregas and Adebayor fit and in top form and with Arshavin eligible to play, would be my favorite, but that's not the case this time. This Arsenal is easily beatable, while Villareal proved many times that they know how to play against the English and they know how to stop the English teams.
Both teams are fighting for the 4th place in the league (they're both 4th atm) so no advantage here because both teams still have to fight on more than 1 front. Still, that 4th spot is a MUST for Arsenal and they must concentrate more there, while for Villareal a CL 1/4 final is a rare oportunity and they will die on the pitch if they have to, they will risk in the domestic league, but they will kill to stay more in Europe.
I decided to give a slight advantage to Villareal because they will have that extra motivation when they think about Riquelme's missed penalty.

More or less, it's equal, but some minor details made me give minor advantage to the Spanish team.
In reality, i can't see any of these teams winning the CL.

I think arsenal will pass villareal thats not a problem for them.

Bayern barca game is a tricky one, everyone is rating barca high but i think bayern will suprise everyone in this game. And the winners of the CL are once again an english team but this time i'd say its not "united".

The winner is either Liverpool or arsenal, I'll bet on those two teams......

They just played Man United at the right time. I remember watching the first leg. Man United were having a slow start to the season at the time. Ronaldo, Scholes and Carrick were injured. They were even behind Arsenal in the league table at the time.

Fact of the matter is their defense is woeful. I've seen them concede 7 goals in two games against Athletico, they lost 3-0 to Deportivo. They concede in almost every game and rarely ever keep a clean sheet. They play neat attacking football thats easy on the eye. But their defense is terrible and that will be their downfall.

4th in the EPL is not like being 4th in the Spanish Liga. Despite how terrible we are, the only team in Spain that is better than us is Barca. We're at least on par with Real Madrid. We're better than both Athleti and Villareal.

You do realise that Villareal have never beaten an English side. The fact you believe it to be an achievment for them to draw 5 out of 6 games with the English and lose one, just shows how low you set the standard for them. Had Arsenal's record against Villareal been like that, you would have written us off immediately. Is that not double standards?

The Arsenal and Villareal teams from 2006 are very much different from the current ones. So i don't see how a missed penalty 3 years ago would affect this match.

As for you're last comment, by these teams, you are referring to Arsenal and Villareal? If you are, then i agree of course.

I don't enjoy the CL any more. I hate Man United and that ugly Berba face. I'll commit a self-castigation if Man United win the league again. Have you ever seen something more disgusting than Berbatov's face? I don't mind any other team winning the CL, I just don't want to see Man United and that ugly Barbie face as winners.
Lighten up. Self-castigate yourself about your obsession with the appearance of some random guy who plays a sport for a living for a team you didn't almost randomly become attached to.
