still on this? was actually funny as Phil "i wont cover any game but liverpool" thompson was going on and on during commentary that is was a clear penalty and the guy took him out

last night they sat and discussed how it was NEVER a penalty and that if he was foreign would he be called a diver!
at the end of the day,a s i said before, it was a clear foul BY gerrard,he ran and launched himself into the man, sent his arms flailing and had the cheek to later claim it was apen.
that is why it has caused so much furore

oh....no...you...didn't:oops:

now i am just confused, you want us to seriously stop taking everything you say seriously?but if you want us to stop taking everything so seriously are you being serious?or do you seriously not want us to take thing so serious?or is it all a ploy and you were being serious but want us to think you are not being serious when in fact you are seriously being serious?

my head hurts

now you are talking, route 1 football,no diving required

banged into?are you watching the same game?he JUMPED INTO the challenge, it was a foul on the defender,of course there was contact because gerrerd launched himself into a defender who had his eyes on the ball looking to head it clear

not just Milan fans but all of italian football, don't you know they were gonna win it for ALL OF US?

It should never have been a penalty. that we agree on. he didn't claim it was a penalty, he admitted that it was soft. i disagree that gerrard fouled, he was definitely going for, and got the ball.

oh yes I did :D rooney is the best in the world, and he plays for the greatest club in history!

ok, the next paragraph was confusing :D i try to make it clear when i'm being serious, but also when I'm parodying. most people here know I hate manu, rooney, and i already admitted that gerrard does dive, all things that I was blatantly contradicting earlier in the thread.

when I said banged in to, I wasn't specifically referring to that incident. all clear? :D

I never thought it was better anyway and look at the amount they spent compared to the one Juve spent. You may also add Sissoko to our costs.
But if you were to think of it that way, Tottenham have outspent us for the last 3 years, but i think its safe to say their squad isnt as good as ours??

It sure doesn't. In fact Juve's full strength squad is superior than them but we've been suffering from all those damn injuries.
and yet Ranieri has done admirably to cope with all of that, something he isnt given credit for(beyond jack and alen) around here.

You are still not getting my point it seems, we are not disagreeing just not focusing on one issue from the same angle. I was always against big spending, one of the biggest reasons why I wasn't bashing our transfer policy, unlike many. We spent few and yet we ended up with a better squad than the big spenders Fiorentina. (Also many wished to have Fiorentina's staff instead of ours). Furthermore, we ended having a slightly better coach and we simply did much better than they did in the most important tournament.

And I am not a Ranieri fan, I just don't bash him, I see no reason to bash him and I give credit where it's due.

i think for juve though, our backbone is so strong (buffon, DP, nedved, etc) has been strong enough that we've done well, even with the crappy players we've brought in

:disagree: we have more Ranieri haters than Secco haters here...they only appreciate our recent good form
They actually appreciate the crisis of our opponents and the fact that the players are bringing the results, Ranieri is still an outsider to our current form.

I have to disagree with you about Ranieri being a better coach than Prandelli. Ranieri had a good core of players, much better than what Prandelli had, thats why Ranieri didnt have to spend big to have a better squad than Prandelli.

I do agree with you about the big spending part, and i do think that Ranieri hasnt been given the credit he deserves sometimes.

I don't think so. Bar a few members here the others appreciate what he's done so far.
I havent seen Ranieri given credit for how he's handled the current injury crisis, i do think juve should have a better coach if they are to win the scudetto, but still, he isnt being given the credit he deserves sometimes.

I actually don't care who is the better coach, I am satisfied with Ranieri at the moment and I will not be against Prandelli managing Juve either. Quite the opposite, it might be interesting to see what he can do with the team.

Well, this is how the things go on. You win and everyone praise you, you lose and everyone bash you. Ranieri was to blame for many of his decisions. Yes, we have lots of injured players but still we are supposed to be strong enough to beat Palermo in our stadium. Both Ranieri and the players were to blame for our poor form and they both are to admire for the recent form.

Have a look at the results here:

You, me, Jack, Alen and even v1rtu4l were among the ones who wanted Ranieri to be fired. The only ones who stood at his side were Secco and Lampard :D

I didn't want Ranieri to be fired.
