true. but i acknowledge Gerrard's faults. i just don't admit he dove this week :D so, just admit that it wasn't a dive. you can do it, i know you can!
still on this? was actually funny as Phil "i wont cover any game but liverpool" thompson was going on and on during commentary that is was a clear penalty and the guy took him out

last night they sat and discussed how it was NEVER a penalty and that if he was foreign would he be called a diver!
at the end of the day,a s i said before, it was a clear foul BY gerrard,he ran and launched himself into the man, sent his arms flailing and had the cheek to later claim it was apen.
that is why it has caused so much furore

wait what, you mean i'm encouraging you?! i don't understand.

stupid foreigners, none of you understand how much better the premier league is. wayne rooney is better than DP!!
oh....no...you...didn't:oops:

unless you're perfect, you're probably a hypocrite. so face it, you're a hypocrite. there are different forms of hypocrisy. i would say gerrard's is rather minor.
also, stop taking every I said seriously. seriously
now i am just confused, you want us to seriously stop taking everything you say seriously?but if you want us to stop taking everything so seriously are you being serious?or do you seriously not want us to take thing so serious?or is it all a ploy and you were being serious but want us to think you are not being serious when in fact you are seriously being serious?

my head hurts

WE NEVER DIVE! seriously, you can't find clips of english players diving. because they don't do it. that's right, brit integrity.we step to save europe when needed, we invented football, and we invented the only real tactic: from the goalies boot to the strikers head. that will teach those continental "passing" teams. get stuck in lads!
now you are talking, route 1 football,no diving required

martin, enron is pointing out the fact that for that penalty, gerrard did not actually dive. which is what I said about tuesday's penalty. when you get banged in to like he did in both occasions, it's pretty normal for the player to fall down. sure, the facial expression was dramatic, but that's not enough to condemn it as a dive. everyone has seen gerrard dive in the past, but he's not the serial diver and cheat people here are suggesting.
banged into?are you watching the same game?he JUMPED INTO the challenge, it was a foul on the defender,of course there was contact because gerrerd launched himself into a defender who had his eyes on the ball looking to head it clear

Gerrard is pure class. He never dives. Milan are just bitter.
not just Milan fans but all of italian football, don't you know they were gonna win it for ALL OF US?

You know I don't get why when people want to accuse someone of diving they paste a picture of a guy diving into a pool. That's not how it happens at all, footballers are trying to pretend like they're not diving. It would be much more appropriate to post a clip of someone tripping over a rock or something, cause that's how they want it to look.
Well, Martin, the act of diving is in fact an act done on purpose. When one dives into a pool on purpose, this is similar to when someone dives in a football match, it is not the act itself but rather the legitimacy behind this very act. The fact that this disgusting act is done on purpose is the reason why people refer to it as 'diving'. I understand how you are thinking about in though and if there had to be a perfectly accurate term to describe a football dive, it would probably be 'purposefully tripping'.
