Ibrahimovic is a poor player and an arrogant son of a bitch. Thank god we got rid of him.

Congrats, Maher, nice victory by Barcelona.
An arrogant son of a bitch, yes.

But a poor player? Please.Only a completley biased person would say that he's a poor player. He has been brilliant for the last 2 seasons now,and he easily warrants a place amongst one of the best players in the world right now.The amount of shit he gets on these forums has become pretty boring.Hating him is one thing, but calling him a poor player is another. The more frequently i read such silly comments, the more convinced i become that die hard Del Piero fans have never been able to get over the fact that Zlatan was getting more playing time than him during his time at Juventus,a chunk of which was obviously undeserved. And before you jump to it,im not saying that Zlatan is better than Del Piero, but For the 2 seasons that Zlatan was at Juventus,he deserved to start ahead of Del Piero in the first season. There are simply no two ways about it.But in the 2nd season Del Piero should have started ahead of him,and there can be no two ways about that either.Zlatan is not at Juventus anymore. He was getting more playing time than your idol, some of which was deserved, some of which was underserved, but you seriously need to get over the your biased attitude towards Zlatan, and in turn Capello.

even though i'm a die hard Alex fan i've to agree with you... but he deserved no spot in our team once he wanted to leave when we were sent to Serie B... what i don't get at all is why the idiots who came to manage the club sold him to Inter??? and that too for € 25 million? surely we should have made more profit from the sale...

Just find the old threads and look at the reactions of 99% of the forum members.
They were celebrating the sale of Ibrahimovic to Inter. They thought Zlatan is an awful player and he'll make Inter weaker and also they thought we ripped Inter off with the 24m price tag.

As for selling him to Inter....i can't forgive our board for that but i can understand them. Ibra was a disaster in his second season with us, he wanted to leave, we had to sell, and only two teams were ready to buy him, Inter and Milan. The former offered more so it was normal to sell him there.
Such a shame that teams like Chelsea or Real didn't want him. It would have been much easier if they wanted him and offered around 23-25m. We would have sold him abroad for sure.

P.S : I just saw his second assist yesterday and the way he toyed with the poor defenders. This guy is from another planet.

In a different age he could have been a star for us. But he just didn't fit into the environment. Didn't work that great with Capello or with the team in general.

He only had 1 bad season with us, remember the first season was great.. It has to do with Del Piero.

And once again it goes to show Ibrahimovic doesn't need to score goals. Just look at Inter's goals yesterday...complete OVERALL attacker. Every time I watch f*cking Inter play, I get so pissed most of all because we sold them Ibra.
We were stuck with Del Piero, we lost many opportunities to sign or keep some forwards because of him, not that I am complaining about it, but that's how I see. I always defended Zlatan, but it was risky to keep him specially for his attitude, even thou he got matured he rarely makes troubles these days, selling him was acceptable because of the relegation and the financial situation, but to Inter or inside Italy, that was one of the dumbest moves by the legend Secco and the company..

I'm not judging the sale, there was no way out of it. He wanted to leave and that's the bottom line...but FFS, we could have sold him abroad, if only for 5mil less. It pisses me off big time.

That's laughable, it is so clear that what you said is denial. There is no other way to look at it. He's arrogant, he's a douche but he's world class when it comes to football. Very few players are that much influential for their team's results and very very few players can do what he does.
That wont last long. He's a choker after-all. He's passing through a good moment. That's all. And when his time will pass, he'll look clueless. Mark it.

Amauri is more effective based on the fact that he plays football to win, not to show off flashy moves and showboat against opponents.

I'm not saying Amauri is better than Zlatan, because he probably isn't, but he is far more effective as a player.
