well i dont see with whats wrong in going to see a match as a neutral, especially as i hadnt been to OT before
Man, nothing's wrong at all. Who said it was ?
I just said that it's a cool thing to do. One day when ManUtd will buy a superstar you can say "Hey, a small part of the money payed for this world class player was my money". That's really great, knowing that you funded Manchester United.

sorry i took it that you had a problem with it

i do dislike man utd, but couldnt help admire them for their standing ovasion for del piero in pre season, so perhaps it was fitting to return the favour somehow, just like ive promised myself to visit notts co play when a couple of their fans came all the way from nottingham to watch juve at the emirates cup

i like to think my financial contribution is more funding owen hargreaves' hospital fee

:D

But how do you balance that against wanting to watch your own team?

I'm going to Glasgow for the Rangers v Aberdeen game on Saturday and it really irks me that I have to give the dirty hun bastards my 25 quid.

Give them only half and tell them you'll watch only your team ;)

If you were a true Aberdeen fan you'd have found a way to smuggle yourself inside the stadium, without paying.
