daniel alves as right back is shit.he caught out of position in defence numerous times. He should play as winger.
I've been arguing about this numeruos times. Danny Alves is a good football player but using him as a defender is really dangerous.
He leaves tons of spaces and he spents most of the time on opponents half. He indeed looks much more like a winger than a full-back.
And it's not that he does that only because Sevilla is an attacking team. I watched him out of position even when his team was defending. He's a very bad defender but he's great at taking set-pieces or making a good cross.

Vargas for example, defends as much as he attacks and i'd prefer to have him as a full-back of my team much more than Alves (i'm aware one is a LB and the other a RB)

I thought I would be disappointed that there would be no Italian teams in the quarters (Roma's not beating Real in the Bernabeu), but it's not that bad, just like in Serie A it feels good to see Milan lose. Unfortunately, either Real or Man U are gonna win the CL, which will suck balls.

the milan oldies will need at least a month to recuperate from the runarounds arsenal gave them. welcome milan to a titleless year....:D it has to be said maldini performed better than anyone else in the team last night. RESPECT.

arsenal=technique+skill+pace+heart+a heck of a manager....can't get better than that :toast:

i don't mind real. with robinho and pepe back on the side i just don't see roma going anywhere further.

is there any chance of prising aquilani away from roma btw? he would be the perfect midfield mean machine for us :)

The problem with milan out is that obviously now they can focus on getting CL spot but the big problem is that they will go crazy in the market in the summer. Thats bad news for us, cause Milan will look to reinforce their squad, and in the same positions we need to reinforce.

I expect them to sign a new CD, Fullback and a striker. And if we doesnt make it to the CL then we might see some of our players playing there as well.

Anyway knowing our management we will have all the left overs after milan has done their shopping.

I'd love to see a Lippi built team fight a Mourinho team face off for the Scudetto while the Spalletti team play "beautiful football" and remain mediocre and the Mancini squad suffer from internal conflict and chokedom.
