Bah the never-ending discussions...

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's good for the league which we are part of if an Italian team wins the Serie A. Though that's hardly the main reason I usually support our rivals in Italy (all but Inter, though I don't want them to go out in the group stage).

In Sweden we have like 65% EPL fans, 25% La Liga fans and 10% Serie A fans. I defend the league ten times more then my team. I don't know if I can claim I love Serie A more than Juve, but sometimes it feels that way. It sure excells more every day then my feelings towards Juve.

One more year of dominance by the English in Europe and I wouldn't be able to stand world football. And it's just a matter of time before it's ridiculus to say the EPL is not the by far best league in the world, the NHL of football. I'd like that to wait as long as possible.

why Inter? :undecide:

I would only prefer Lazio to progress out of those.
Inter are the defenders of Italian title (yeah, I know :D) and I want to see what they are capable of. It´s about time they get out of their city rivals shadow and show that they are capable of doing a good challenge in Europe. It would be really good to see them not choking for once. Of course that doesn´t mean I actually want to see them winning the title.

I don't care if 99% of the world supports Premier league and bash Serie A. I only focus on Juventus, I want Juve alone to stand there at the top of Europe and Seire A and not Serie A.

Then I guess the real question here is who do you support primary Juventus or Italian Football?

Zlatan; “Personally I don’t think that it was crucial for me to break my duck in Europe,” he told reporters.

“In this case I think it was much more important that Inter won. I’m not interested in the Ballon d’Or either – I’m just thinking about Inter.”

Look at it this way:
How much will our next SeriaA title weight if SeriaA is considered the best domestic league in the world and how much it would weight if its considered 3rd domestic league in the world?

We are tied with Spanish on 11 Champions league trophies.
English have 10.
So all 3 of those leagues have good braging rights.
Besides, if our rivals do good in europe, its only normal they are going to have less fuel for domestic competition which can only help us this season.

There is no question I want Inter, Roma and Lazio to do well in the Champions league.
Although I am finding it dificult to support Milan.
Along with personal despise I developed over the years, I just dont like the idea that they have so many european titles.

They have very good claim, probebly the rightfull claim, to the the biggest european club. Sure Real has wan more titles but since 1960, Real has wan only 4 and Milan has wan 7.

That is probably one of the best posts here.

I’m hoping for a Chelsea win tonight. I reckon it’ll be a great game to watch! I reckon 3-1 with David Villa scoring for Valencia, and then 1 for Shevchenko, and 2 for Drogba for Chelsea.
