I can name many more deserving teams for the QFs that aren't there over Roma, however. It's true that the CL is all about the match-up rather than the field of competition. But Roma should feel gifted to even make it this far.
Spalletti should know English teams get at you the first 20 minutes. It's his job to prevent they do. Seeing it was 3-0 after 20 minutes, Spalletti fucked up. It's that simple. Go coach a Serie D side, man.
You definetly got a point there. But the team has to be awake, too, no matter what Spalletti. I mean, they are Roma, they are not literally crap. While ManU scored, the Roma defenders were not close to their opponents and did obviously not even know where their teammates are. Those misunderstandings should not happen in a defence line playing together for the whole season. They kinda slept with open eyes. I do not think you can all blame on Spalletti.
