i have been watching football for around 20 years , i did not see stupid goal keeper and defenders as i saw in barca match yesterday , valdez got the ball and instead of keeping it he push it in front of the attacker and say please put it in the goal , by the way once this happened i turned the tv and watched a movie
it is over for barca . lets concentrate on the liga now
Actually the ball went in with Bellamy's header, but that's just a detail.

So the might Barca fall in front of their noisy losers? It's good to see that the dancing shows are not to be near a football field. Funny how their shows last year tricked many people as to being the deserved winners, tricked many people as to rate Frank Rijkaard as a football manager, tricked many people as to say that Messi is a gem on the field, tricked many people as to rate Puyol as one of the great defenders. These shows and dances work rarely, it only takes luck, blind referees and Santa Maria di Barcelona to make such a team win the trophy. We've all seen how Barcelona crumbles out of European trophies in the past years; last year was "once in a blue moon" and people started rating them as a great team. Get back to earth, this is the Barca we all know, more pathetic than Inter. Nothing is more music to the ears than the noise in Camp Nou when Barca are losing.

As for Inter, well I might have thought of them higher than I did, my bad. Even though I don't sign them out yet, but they have a lot of work to do to become a football team.

like i said many times barca this year is not like last season , and i did not expect them to win the Cl this season even if they beat liverpool as for inter Cl proove that they are leading Serie A only because there is no good teams in Serie A

Barca this year are exactly like last season, except for one thing, last season they were lucky and they tricked many that they play great football. And for the matter, they are like that EVERY fucking season.

i dont agree with you , last season barca defense was not weak like this season
the same for the midfield and the thing that make my words correct is last season barca was winning home and way easily while this season barca did not win away in the liga for 3 months

Word. Rafa Benitez is such a great tactician, with a team like Liverpool he continuosly shows how a team doesn´t need overpaid stars to achieve gret results, I would be so happy if I had a Coach like Benitez in Juve.

Of course you don't agree with me because you are also blinded by their results last year.

Let me tell you what happened from last year to this year in both departments you mentioned.

Defence, they acquired Zambrotta (a starter now) and Thuram, the defence has become better by adding Zambrotta to the pitch and the gained depth with Thuram sitting on the bench.

Midfield, they sold Van Bommel who barely played last year.

I will tell you what is the difference my dear, last year Barca were given a jewel by awarding Del Horno a red card in Stamford Bridge thus taking the edge over Chelsea who would have owned their sorry asses in both legs and thus Barcelona went further to meet Milan

In the Milan encounter, Sheva was denied a goal that would have made the whole crying sad souls of Camp Nou cry were it not for the idiot of a captain that is rated as one of the best in his positions.

Wake up dude, take off your Barca glasses for a while and look at the reality. Barca were always a worthless team and will always be one, enjoy your last year title because that was a joke; exactly like Rijkaard, Ronaldinho, Messi and the whole Barca team with its jersey sponsor and fake fans. I'm out f here, I have nothing more to add.

Well I lied, I have only one thing to add Barcelona :rofl2:

u missed one point ahmedios, rijkaard cant adapt to a sudden shock or drop in preformance, he just freaks out and loses control on the game.
.
so....he is just like capello then?
seriously fabio capelo has made a career out of playing a one-system game so i doubt rijkaard will have any trouble finding anew job once barca fire him for choking this year

not like crapello to be exact, bozi i meant that rijkaard doesnt know how to play his cards when his team falls behind. he just freaks out and its obvious he just cant handle it properly. not to mention i think barca dont have depth specially upfront and look how terrible they r with out eto. one player brings down or lifts up the team. ronni in sync barca plays, ronni is crap barca is crap in every single department i,e they r a one man team!!!! :disagree:

There is just one difference with last years Barcelona and the present, no Eto'o and no Larsson. You all call Messi selfish, though with gudj and Saviola there ARE no passing alternatives, and frankly his dribbling skills are so good most of the times it is better for the team when he goes himself. Especially versus such slow defenders as Carragher and Hyypiä.

I know he rather pass then score.

Trust me, if Eto'o is in the squad at Anfield Barcelona will triumph. I'm sure of it, they will be able to score more then two goals.

(I might have said to much.... haven't seen the match yet but I've watched pretty much every barca game in the league the last three seasons so I feel I got the team down.)

And who ever it was who said it, I sooooo disagree that Barcelona "lucked throw" last seasons La Liga and CL. Their whole campain last season, every scoring line in every game was, in my honest opinion, just as it should have been. Barcelona played beutiful football, displayed extraordinary movement and vision and showed that a bunch of superstars really can work together as a team. I hope they can reach that standard again (hopefully soon, very soon) because that was the joy to do the watch.

Rijkaard is a good coach who believes in his formation. There is no wrong with that. The players gets used to the system and if they play it week in and week out they will build up a routine for every situation. He doesn't change the formation, pretty much ever. Just moves around the players a little. To me that doesn't make him a bad coach, every player knows their role in every game and there are no question marks.
