We’ll cope without Shev, say Milan Wednesday 23 February, 2005

Milan are confident they can get a result at Manchester United despite the absence of star striker Andriy Shevchenko.
The Golden Ball winner is out of tonight’s Champions’ League clash with injury but boss Carlo Ancelotti is remaining optimistic.
"We will feel his loss but my team has everything that is needed to do well even without him," said the tactician.
The Rossoneri go into the game having caught Juventus at the top of the table, but recent performances have been inconsistent.
"I’m not that worried about our form because it is by playing in arenas such as this one which allows a team to fully focus.
"They will try to impose their game on us but we must just look to keep hold of the ball as best we can."
While Milan are without Shevchenko, Man Utd are expected to welcome back Ruud Van Nistelrooy from injury.
"He is a great player but we shouldn’t be too worried," added the former Juventus boss. "We expect to be troubled defensively but that should allow us more space to counter attack."
Old Trafford brings back some good memories for the Italian side, seeing that they beat Juventus in the Champions’ League Final there two years ago.
"The past counts for nothing," stated Ancelotti. "This game is all that matters now and I’m sure it will be a match of the highest quality."
Milan (probable): Dida; Cafu, Nesta, Maldini, Kaladze; Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattuso; Kaka, Rui Costa; Crespo.
