Barcelona :rofl2:

Let them concentrate on La Liga now, ending the season empty handed this way is much sweeter.

Alexander, m_elayyan :lol2:

By the way Arif, weren't you one of those who jump to defend Barcelona at the beginning of the season? It seems someone has jumped on a certain bandwagon, it's fine with me, the more the merrier, you're welcome.

I only defended them against Werder, as I somewhat liked the way they played. I never cared about their results.

Barcelona concerns over fatty Ronaldinho

Doubts are being raised over the weight of Barcelona star Ronaldinho.
The World Player of the Year is clearly carrying extra baggage and AS says he has already confided to close friends: "I am not well."

Barcelona physios and medical chief, Dr Ricardo Puna, refuse to speak to the media about Ronaldinho's increasing waistline, while the local press are comparing his situation with what Ronaldo went through at Real Madrid.

Stress, partying and outside commercial interests are all being blamed for Ronaldinho's weight problems, which are now affecting his form.

Matrix slams critical Capello
Friday 23 February, 2007
Inter defender Marco Materazzi has slammed Fabio Capello for his recent criticism towards Italian football.

The Real Madrid Coach had declared that football in Italy was not as competitive, and therefore not as entertaining, as in England or Spain.

But the World Cup winner has hit back at the tactician who left Juventus, following their demotion to Serie B, last summer.

“I respect him because he is a great Coach and he has won everything, but I don’t always like what he says,” stated Materazzi.

“As facts show, he was perhaps a little bit too hasty in abandoning ship.

“It is easy for him now to say that Italian football isn’t great and isn’t competitive, seeing as he obtained most of his trophies here,” added the Nerazzurro.

“If Italian football isn’t at a certain level then it must mean that he isn’t really that good a Coach…”

Materazzi also commented on Inter’s 2-2 Champions League draw with Valencia, which leaves the tie weighted in the Spanish side’s favour for the return leg on March 6.

“We shall have to play like Wednesday night, with the same will to do well. With a bit of luck I am sure we can qualify,” explained Matrix.

“The dropping of Adriano? The Coach takes the decisions and these must be respected. There are 26 men in the squad and it is logical that someone has to rest.”

Enough said and I hope Capello will rust more in Madrid.
