What a biased and completelly unrealistic summary of the match. Barca had the better possesion in the first half but that proved nothing as they coudn't combine enough to create chances, the only chance was the one gudjohnsen missed.

Since you were so eager to mention his miss why didn't you mention Villa's miss in the first half, which was a even more certain chance, you were very lucky Villa was selfish had he not been you would have been 1:0 down in the first half already.

Defense collapsed? :howler: Can you be any funnier.

What about Ronaldinho elbowing people and getting away with it? He should have been yellow carded for that on 2 occasions.
Meh I read your comment first and I expected his to be more biased.

Gudjohnsen ran offside like 4-5 times before he got his first chance. He has to start his runs early since he severally lacks pace. If Eto'o would play Barcelona would definetly have scored the first goal.

Oh and people praise the Valencia defence, frankly I though it was so-so. Both Ronaldinho and Messi could have ran straight throw it several times if Valencia hadn't commited fouls. Barcelona got 3 freekicks outside the box right? They should have gotten like 6-7.

The Ronnie elbow didnt look intentional, could have been, but that dude is always flapping his arms like a nut so I don't think it was.

Anyways, Valencia did well. They did exactly what they planned and Barcelona got home with 0 points. Villa is fantastic, must be the most mobile striker in the world. Very nice to see the Spanish title race heating up, if only athletico could have opposed at least some threat against sevilla, who looks very very deadly.

They won 3:1. They're still gonna end up 4th or 5th. :p
:faq1: You are saying that for 2 months already and they are still 1st. Sevilla rules!!!!

Congrats for the win. ;) Although I hate Valencia, I´m glad they beat Barca cause their fans are pathetic like Jack said.

You have to first answer these questions

1- What is Frank Rijkaard?

2- What is Ronaldinho?

3- What is Puyol?

4- What are Barcelona fans?

5- In what way are Barcelona the champions of Europe?
1) A clueless guy with no idea.

2) A horse that stands on 2 legs

3) A monkey with no co-ordination

4) Glory-hunters

5) They are the true Chumpions...and the champions of choking

I don't really get the Barce hating on these forums. They don't have any really controversial players, they dont abuse the market, they got an honourable coach and they play flowing football. I love that they play on sundays as well, so i can get a break from the english start stop football and the tactical italian and watch some free flowing football.

I don't get how you can hate Valencia either.

I don´t hate Barcelona, I hate their fans. We will not discuss tastes, I hate them because I hate them, you don´t have to neccesarily understand why, it´s just my personal bias. :)

If Eto'o did play...If Baraja had played. If Vicente had played..Maybe the score would have been different, I don't know.

Barcelona got more then enough fouls and free-kicks heading their way. I don't know where you could dig out 6 or 7 of them. Valencia should have gotten one when Zambrotta pulled Angulo's shirt on 17,18m, nothing was called.

Intentional or not that was a straight elbow to the side of his head and warranted a yellow. You gotta be more careful when you're jumping for the ball like that.

Valencia were clear and deserved winners, Barca had more possesion but like I said didn't create much chances. With Eto'o it probably would have been different but both teams were handicaped and it's a just result.

Me calling his opinion biased was spot on and that's something you would know if you've been reading this topic more frequently. He never admits a team was better, he only says "Barca played great and were unlucky not to win..." Same old story every time, much the reason for all the flaming Barca recieves in this thread.

4- What are Barcelona fans?
I admit that I like Barcelona. But not everyone just choses em you know. Larsson is my absolute most favourite player ever and the way the Barca fans and the barca players treated him during his two years there put (don't know if this is an okay english phrase :p) put butterflies in my stomach.

Well, Eto'o importance to Barcelona exceeds those two's importance to Valencia by a mile since barca lack replacement for him. Gudjohnsen doesn't fit Barca at all and Saviola is very very overrated. Anyways they got some lack of depth there and that is a crack in their squad.

I'm talking about the very end, the final 10 minutes. Ronaldinho and Messi went down a lot of times, but the ref chosed to free half of them. The replays clearly showed that there was contact every single time.

:D heheh yeah that makes it easy to pick a talk with a dude. Yet the points he made stroke me as well, of course he left out the negatives but who doesn't.

Eto'o itself is more important than these two but still both Baraja and Vicente have been key elements in Valencia for a number of years. Vicente was playing excellently before he got injured 2 games ago, he was really missed but thank God for Silva! :toast: That kid is gonna be huge.

Saviola is playing well when given a chance this season, overrated or not I'm sure he would have done better than Eidur.

well its all fun and dandy wat ur team did to barca vlatko, but am more interested in their CL encounter. Can they do it their ?
Inter are really strong and most importantly they are playing very well consistently. Valencia are on the other hand strong but they lack consistency. Last week they lost to Getafe 3:0, now they beat Barcelona.

At the beginning I thought they had as much of a chance to advance as Inter, but I don't think so anymore. Inter are clear favourites with their depth and consistency. Valencia are gonna need some solid performance and a off-day Inter to advance.

65% chance for Inter to advance IMO.
