How you doing vlatko-hrvatko my friend :pint:
Hey Dani! :toast: I'm good, how 'bout you? We'l have to catch up on MSN one of these days, just that I'm a little busy lately. :D
Torres can produce more than just goals and he is younger, he will still improve.
Torres is good, Villa is more consistent and scores more. Torres is not a creative player, I don't know why you insist on that he can produce more than just goals.

ONLY if Trezeguet leaves, but as Vlatko said, we would need a good playmaker then.

How could you even go into debate with Bozi when you know you´re destined to lose. :p

And I hate Valencia. :p David Villa is shit with/without anybody. :p
i know, what was i thinking!!!! :faq1: thank god he was'nt a mod back then he would've given me a week off the forum to get my mind back on track:D
just kidding bozi is probably one of the few people who actually are open to debates and at the end of the day he respects yr point of view or says " ahmed ur talking rubbish bro cut the crap etoo sucks and trez rules!!!!!"

It is simply a clash of two opinions, I don´t like Villa and I don´t know what you people see in him just as you don´t know what I see in Torres, etc.

Barcelona are trying to arrange a reconciliatory meeting on Wednesday between Samuel Eto'o, Frank Rijkaard and Txiki Begiristain.

The objective of this meeting will be to try to close the crisis opened by Eto'o's explosive declarations on Tuesday.

The fiery Cameroon striker called Rijkaard "a bad person" for claiming that he had not wanted to come off the sub's bench at the end of Sunday's 2-0 win over Racing Santander.

Eto'o also implicitly criticised team-mate Ronaldinho, and claimed that the Barca dressing-room "was divided into two groups".

Above all, Eto'o insisted that he didn't have to "apologise to anyone" for his erratic behaviour in the past three days.

On Tuesday evening Barca president Joan Laporta made it clear that he would be taking no disciplinary action against Etoo.

Laporta pointed out that it was up to coach Rijkaard and sporting director Begiristain to meet with Eto'o and close the crisis.

"I am sure that Rijkaard will find a solution," said Laporta. "Our coach is a specialist in this kind of situation."

Eto'o's outburst has provoked all manner of transfer speculation, with the Spanish media suggesting a move to Juventus - or even a return to Real Madrid, his first club in Spain.

However, an online opinion poll published in the digital version of sports daily AS shows that only 46 percent of Real fans would like Eto'o to wear the famous white shirt again.

Rijkaard, Txiki Turn Page, Talk Unity

All talks of a crisis have been nipped in the bud within 24 hours, with Barcelona getting their act together and solving the crisis internally. It was left to Frank Rijkaard and Txiki Begiristain to close...

"He [Rijkaard] is very happy that everything has been resolved so quickly," Begiristain told the press. "The problem arose due to the lack dialogue from the moment last weekend's game against Racing ended."

He insisted that the issue has been dealt with appropriately, and stressed on unity in the dressing room: "A sign that the squad is united is that Ronaldinho is the best friend of Eto'o.

"Everything happened as a result of the difficult personal situation of Samuel, after a very long injury lay-off, and his desire to play. It is important to understand how every person feels. This should never have reached the public."

Rijkaard, meanwhile, confirmed that "there will be no sanctions for Etóo, because I believe in solving things amicably in the dressing room."

He insisted that he was not looking for any apologies, because the issue has already been put behind: "I am not waiting for apologies, it is all already water under the bridge, and we have to look ahead.

"There is no issue. The squad is united, and that is enough motivation to continue working.

"I am delighted, because the dressing room is very sensible. When moments like these arrive, they still choose to learn from it."

He had a special mention for skipper Carles Puyol, who is said to have stepped up and played a pivotal part in ensuring things were sorted out swiftly and with maturity. He also took the lead in speaking to the media earlier this afternoon, and pulling down the curtains

"When people like Puyol are around, it affects the team very positively," said the Dutchman. "They [the players] have all trained with a lot of intensity today.

"In fact, we are very happy, because the dressing room has shown amazing professionalism. The only thing I want to think about is to work so that the fans are satisfies.

"It has all turned out very well, and I have to congratulate my players"

Defenders in La Liga who are better than Andrea Barzagli:

Luis Perea
Pablo Ibanez
Gonzalo Rodriguez
Carles Puyol
Rafa Marquez
Roberto Ayala
Julien Escude
Jorge Andrade
Fabio Cannavaro

... probably more but I simply cannot think of them right now.

I wonder what Barca have done to piss a lot of you off so badly... How come you don't like Barca? I mean they are playing some nice football, they donate money to charity and they have pinnacle players everyone loves to watch like Ronaldinho and Eto'o. I'm puzzled... :shifty:
