Man, Koscielny's performance against City got me thinking what a headache Wenger is having right now with centerbacks. This is not usually a problem we have, but right now, theres the question of keeping all 3 centerbacks, Vermaelen, Per and Kos happy. The former two seem to be the preferred pairing right now, but Kos's performance against Aguero and co, has probably got Wenger thinking a bit more. To be honest, Kos had a good season last year, so i'm not sure he'll be ok with sitting on the bench.
Another thing that has changed this year is Diaby, he seems to be much more disciplined and tactically aware than he ever was before. I like him this season, he's been quite decent both defensively and offensively, his decision making seems to have improved substantially too. In the past he'd always try to dribble when he should pass, and pass when he should dribble, he seems to be getting those decisions right this season.
All in all, i expected us to do a lot worse than conceding only 2 league goals, and beating Pool at Anfield, and drawing City at the Ettihad stadium. Not sure how long it will last though, as the injuries will predictably kick in sooner or later, and we'll have to bear with the likes of Djourou, Arshavin and Chamakh at some stage.
