Well, we did alright coping with being terribly outgunned in the midfield. But we screwed ourselves on a Pepe Reina brainfart and poor set piece play both offensively and defensively. The build up over the pitch is good, but in the final third Liverpool look like they don't know what to do. You can't do that against a team like City.

Other notes, Kompany is really good. He took Carroll completely out of the match and saved at least 2 goals. It's a shame he's paired with such a bum.

Gareth Barry is about as dumb a player as Charlie Adam. And Charlie is retarded.

Liverpool have accepted Suarez's ban, and won't appeal, despite feeling greatly wronged.

The scousers are going to be going on about this one until 2045, [Cronios]mark my words[/Cronios].
Well, the FA did use 115 pages to say "We banned your guy because we believe the other guy".

Who the fuck are Adam, Henderson, Spearing and Jose Enrique? 60m eur for Carrol and Downing?

Such an unattractive team. All the ones I mentioned are players I'd expect to see in Blackburn.
Jose Enrique is pretty good actually, probably our best purchase. Spearing came up through the academy. Henderson is a decent player and Adam is shit when he doesn't play well. But yeah, it's a pretty underwhelming midfield without Gerrard and Lucas.

Downing and Carroll have been shit, though Downing started out well enough. Unfortunately Carroll doesn't have the skill to justify his price tag (panic buy).

No, I mean that all 8 matches would have been for serie A, not Coppa Italia. Suarez's ban counts for FA Cup and Carling Cup too while in Italy a ban counts only for one competition.
i think this is a general thing for suspensions in england.

example: someone gets a red card in an fa cup match for say handling the ball in the penalty box, he will be suspended for the next local english match, be it cup or league

There was a bit more to it than that, but they certainly should have done a better job of it.

As could Suarez's team and Liverpool, they really could have got out of this with a slap on the wrist if they were more decisive in the hearings.
