I'm led to believe it would be more on a level of 'darkie' or something in English.

Pretty low down on the racist scale, but still not very nice.

Very harsh punishment for Suarez and a very awkward precedent that the FA has set themselves.

John Terry will have to get a longer ban than that if found guilty, because what he said was worse and he has no excuse of being in an unfamiliar culture or anything.
I think Terry also has video evidence against him. So it will be interesting how that is taken into account.

There is speculation that it may be several months before Terry's case goes before the FA. Since, the criminal case has priority. I wonder if England would suspend it's Lion for the Euros if the delay lasted that long.

I'd reduce Suarez's ban to a three game.

Ban Terry for life though, scumbag. Hope somebody blows him and his family up. Bunch of cretins.
I think it could come down some upon appeal, but then you have to expect another 3 matches for the Fulham Finger incident. So pretty much Suarez is out indefinitely.

I'm just hoping we think out our January striker/playmaker if we decide to invest.

In no way defending racism, but I struggle to see the justice in an eight match ban for saying a nasty word, where you are unlikely to get more than a three match ban even if you try to seriously injure someone.

Terry's initial hearing is set for the start of February, so the FA should be able to avoid that situation if they act reasonably quickly and the trial isn't deferred and there aren't any appeals or anything.

Feb 1st Terry is due in court for a first hearing, what happens after that?
I'd suppose Terry gets a fine and the case then goes to the FA.

I don't expect that they would wait that long. I was just speculating. :D
