Finally we look like a semi decent team again. We're definitely weaker than last season, but at least we've improved vastly from our performances in the first 5 games of this season. Arteta was a vital signing, we needed someone in midfield who can pass the ball. Him and RVP have developed an understanding already, Mertesacker is also a welcome addition, definitely a significant upgrade over Djourou. This team has a chance to for 4th place imo, we're a bit short in midfield so we're going to have to hope we stay injury free in that department.

The goal we scored today was just

City's goal was mesmerizing, what a fucking team they've become this season. The most entertaining team in the EPL imo.

Yup, has always been a good technical player for Everton. Injuries have screwed him over in the past couple of years though. If he can stay fit, he'll be a useful player for us.

Only watching our game, its been a snoozefest to be honest. Shows how much we miss Jacky, Cesc and the mercenary. Never a dull game with those three in midfield :frown:
