No way. They just need 6 more world class players so they can field a EPL team and a Cups team. Then Mancini will prove he is the best ever. Because he can tell people who make a fuck ton not to play like idiots.

They do have plenty of good players out on loan, I wonder who will they keep. It would be an interesting transfer market in the summer. I see City selling 6-8 players, and spending 3x that amount on others.

Yes. I like him.

This is why football is this special. I caught the last 20 minutes on tv, watching it with my dad. He's a fan of African teams, underdogs, Asian teams, the US, minnows and a few individuals so even though it was the only game he was watching of EPL this season, he wanted City to win because "it's enough with United" and "City are a poor club" [:p]. He was quite excited in the end and was wondering why he hadn't watched enough football games lately.

just a bit earlier Joey reacted to Shearer's criticism after the match. I would subscribe for PPV if those 2 fight in ring! It would be worth it!

Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
With that my #shearerrant is over... Goodnight all xxxxxx

21m Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
My favourite memory of him though is when he dropped his spuds when Keano put it on him. Goodnight Al, sleep well matey...

29m Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
...That he would retire from international football. No sorry, not having him, never have. Selfish, boring man him. He can do one...

31m Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
I'd take it off Hansen and @GaryLineker but not from that bell, same fella that stamped on Neil Lennon, then threatened FA if they banned him

47m Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
I really don't like that prick, in fact I honestly despise him... Goodnight.

58m Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
But I have a better hair(which is not hard), wear well better shirts on TV and have a personality(something u lack).

1h Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
Whilst were both stating the obvious about each other, can I just say for the record what a great player u were. Well better me...

1h Joseph Barton ‏ @Joey7Barton
Shearers still on my case..."I know I f*cked up Alan, thanks for stating the obvious."

With Man City winning the league they will splash a whole load more, and seeing as Mancini is Italian expect him to buy a whole load of serie A players.

I have to admit, I envy the premier league these days, kinda wish Serie A could return to the standards of football the EPL has :(
Well, according to this forum, "fuck Serie A." :sergio:

City or a other team?

City or a other team?
I'd like to think he has enough respect for us for him to move out of England.

who still thinks mancini is not a good coach?
This

Yeah, it must be really hard to win with all those star players in your team. If he were a good coach, he wouldn't have crashed out of both CL and EL.

EPL this year was a joke. United was the only team remotely consistent and even they had insane injuries and setbacks. Mancini was handed the title in a silver platter.
:hi:

what Salvatore said - he is not a great one.

Mancio is decent enough to win you a domestic title provided his team outspends the opposition 5-10/1 and that opposition is either too weak or has a horrendously inconsistent season, including many injuries, so they end up gifting you the title (8pt lead, 5 games before the end = a title thrown away) ... that was the case with Inter in Serie A and this year in the EPL too.

However, if City are looking for a coach to take them to the next level (as in win them titles in a tough, competitive league and/or be contenders at the highest level in the CL), he is not the right man for the job and they should look elsewhere ... that's what Inter realized after 3 years and it's what City will realize too after 1.5-2 bill and 2-3 years later.
City's squad is vastly superior to their competitors for one, their only direct competition United, had injuries that really set them back, and we all saw how City dealt with Kompany being out for a few weeks back in February, United had Vidic out all season long.

Despite all that, he almost blew it for City.

Mancini staying at City is good news for football. They could become really really strong with a better coach.

Completely agree.
