The Italian league is definitely the most exciting and entertaining this season, regardless of the quality.
Completely subjective. I find the EPL more interesting personally, but i know that thats just because i'm more interested in the league and not because its better or not better than other leagues.

The third (with two matches less than the power houses Arsenal and Chelsea) is out of EL, eliminated by Rubin and PAOK.

Best league in the world :howler:

Basel, Napoli and PAOK taught the best EPL teams a lesson.
You know, as a man of figures (I, said figures, not figure), not to take an isolated season as a guide, as much fun as it gives you.

The first team in Italy didn't even qualify for european football. :shifty:

Hey, this game is fun.
That was last year that Juventus didn't make it to Europe. Last year's team, that couldn't pass the EL and ended up 7th in Italy.

In England we're talking about this year. Teams who proved to be weak for Europe THIS YEAR, are topping the EPL table.

This season is just an expected development of what started some seasons ago. The moment the EPL started losing its main stars to La Liga, it was clear that things will develop the way they're developing right now. It will get even worse for them.

P.S: Wait 2-3 years and watch how Milan, Inter and Juve start buying EPL star players. EPL's cycle is over.
On second thought...watch how it will start this winter with Tevez :p

Considering their CL titles it wasn't such a long or big domination anyway.

Lol at Tevez being a star. He hasn't played a game for City in ages.

The Liga however is fucking the EPL sideways. I can't see established EPL stars going to Italy though.

Unfortunately for them that they didn't win lots of CLs. But lets not fool ourselves, they were a force. They more or less regularly had 2-3 teams in the semis and in 6 of the last 7 years they had a CL finalist. They were unlucky to have a team like this Barca against them in the same period.

True, but to me winning the cup will be a bigger achievement than playing in the finals and loosing so many times. I don't wanna say that the they were not a force, I'm just saying that for a proper domination they should have won more CL titles. What's the point in dominating all the game if you always loose one one counter attack.

It will happen. If guys like Eto'o and Ibrahimovic could move from Barca to Inter/Milan, then stars from EPL will move to Italy too. 2-3 years tops.
Of course, those won't be British players but in not a long time I can imagine players like Dzeko, Aguero, Nani, Van Persie, Suarez moving to the Milano giants or Juve.

You know very well that both players you mentioned, Guardiola didn't want them. So they're poor examples, i don't know why you're bringing them up.

Mancini the supposed choker, demolished Pool, and thrashed both United and Tottenham in their respective fields. He's doing a very good job this season minus the CL.
Overall I agree; they've been by far the best team in the league. But there's no question manu have the experience and confidence, while city don't have the same experience in dealing with the pressure of a title run-in. How many times have Manu caught up with a superior team and won the league?!

Oh, and "demolished pool"?! Did you watch the match? They were excellent for 20 minutes, but in the end they were lucky to leave with a point.
