Mourinho changes clubs and wins stuff with all of them. He's already better than Turd Ferguson. I'd like to see him win the CL at fucking Porto.
How is it harder to win the CL at Porto than it is to win the ECWC at Aberdeen?

Aberdeen had to beat Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Porto only had to beat Man Utd, in terms of top class opposition.

Dude, those were years when Real Madrid was playing second fiddle to the Basque teams. They were terrible then.

Plus it was the Cup Winners Cup. Not exactly the European CUp, you know.

A team who finished second in the league and won the Cup would have ended up in the ECWC, not like the CL letting in teams that finished fourth.

And Aberdeen then went and won the Super Cup as well, against Hamburg.

Real Madrid and Bayern both finished 3rd and ended up the the ECWC. Obviously, they would have gone into the CL now.

Sir Alex has been at the same club for two decades and continues to depend on the same generation of superb players, namely Giggs and Scholes. Man United has spent truck loads of money on new players throughout his career.

But just like the club itself, Turd Ferguson is overrated.

When Mourinho goes on to win a title in Spain and yet another European Cup, that should seal the deal for everyone, but it probably won't.

That generation of superb players became a generation of superb players while being coached and trained by Ferguson. Besides, if that's the formulation of success, I wonder why other teams don't copy it. It's brought ManU a hell amount of trophies after all.

I'm not arguing about Ferguson v Mourinho.

I'm waiting for an explanation of why Porto's CL win in 2004 was harder to achieve than Aberdeen's ECWC win in 1983.

And is it harder to move clubs to try to succeed somewhere else than it is to rebuild a side and keep it motivated to keep winning in one place?

Anyone who says that Ferguson is not one of the best coaches in the world is just biased. I don't like Man Utd at all, but all the things Ferguson did with them are great, the mere fact that he successfully coach the same club for 20 years is enough.

Yes, and at the rate Mourinho's going, he'll have 5 times more titles than Ferguson at the end of his career.
