MAN CITY TEAM-MATES IN TRAINING BUST-UP

Manchester City have once again found themselves in the uncomfortable position of having to play down a training ground fracas.

The latest came as Roberto Mancini's side were completing preparations for Wednesday's crucial trip to Arsenal and involved former Gunners team-mates Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure.

As so often, the flashpoint was a tackle, to which Adebayor is thought to have reacted.

Pictures of half a dozen team-mates moving in to quell the set-to were circulated on the internet, forcing City officials to insist there was no major issue and the matter had quickly been sorted.

Quite possibly, City are correct in their assertion that perception of discontent is someway short of reality.

However, the fact remains, that the club's Carrington training complex is accessible through public bridleways and therefore can be filmed every day thus making scenes like today's, which the club insist happens at all rival outfits on a regular basis, are viewed by a far greater audience than would normally be the case.

It is only a month since Mario Balotelli and Jerome Boateng had to be separated in similar fashion, while this season City also gained unwanted headlines for a prank involving Nigel de Jong.

It is unlikely to affect Mancini's team selection on Wednesday night though and Adebayor was unlikely to be involved against his former club anyway as he seems set to end his unhappy spell at Eastlands during the current transfer window.

And Mancini may also claim that no matter what the pictures may indicate morale within the City camp is good, a fact emphasised by City's current position of second in the Premier League, trailing leaders Manchester United only on goal difference.

so what? no need to make such a big deal about a training ground fight.Fights like that happen all the time over the course of a season. As in example, Sissoko vs Melo fight, and many others. The problem is that City's training ground is open for all which make it easier to spot any.

i like how they talk about futures, winning trophies, owning CL, guess thats all they can do, dream :)
there's nothing wrong on dreaming, what's wrong is that you keep talking about the past and not improving. Put yourself in place of Dzeko.

Will you choose Manchester City project and help the club to win trophies and be successful in Europe and worldwide while getting paid much much higher than any club in the world can offer. Also you will play in the best league in the world where 4 clubs can possibly win the league.

or you will join club that used to be good and couldn't even manage to pass the group stage on EUROPA LEAGUE, a team which sadly lost it brightness.

Enjoy the moment, as Juventus fans enjoy the past and future.

Just don't be getting yourself any daft tattoos now.

How's it feel to be owned by dodgy folk?
the "dodgy" guy you're talking about is committed to the club and will stay for long time. There's many developments going around the stadium and soon you will hear the expanding of COMs to hold 85k fans. We do believe that our club is going in the right direction with the right man. Just look at what those guys did in their country in general and Dubai/Abu Dhabi in specific! who would have thought 20 years ago that there will be many Europeans living in some Arab country? It's just amazing in this small period of time.
