I wanted him during the summer's transfer window when he was at Real, i don't know why Ancelotti didn't even try, fucks sake Spurs got him for 8m. :(

And yeah, i had a hunch, i would rather have signed a more creative midfielder than Ramires, that's for sure.

I would have renewed Ballack, he was useful last season, but he wanted too much money and a 2 year contract, we were offering 1 year and less money.

Deco, well, he wasn't worth what he was earning, which was an exageration.
Yeah 8m was broad light robbery.:D

I remember when i had a convo with Dusan i think & we said that we should go for VDV, some members here were like, no way he's washed up & useless.:D

So far, Sneijder, Robben, VDV & Drenthe have proved that when they left Real, the grass is greener on the other side.:D

I remember defending VDV along with Ken the whole summer.

Can't believe people said they didn't rate him because he was a "Real Madrid flop" guess people didn't learn from Sneijder and Robben. :D

Yeah & they're doing the same with Benzema. The team that signs him up will get him for a joke of a fee & he'll come good ten fold.

Just hope its Juve & not manure that exploit that option.:xfinger:

14 in 26 isn't bad at all brother..:numnum:

You didnt rate him on his 30 goal season with arsenal?
A lot of people who weren't here 3 years ago doubt that i had such an opinion when he scored so many goals for us. But back then i didn't rate him that highly either, even had a number of arguments with people who kept telling me he was a top striker.

I can fetch the posts for you if you aren't going to take my word for it.

Never rated him, mostly because of his inconsistency. He's shown over and over again that he cannot perform on a weekly basis. He can be great for a month and shit for the other, a player like that you can't rely on. Plus his finishing can be really bad at times, in tight games where strikers get only a few chances, you know Adebayor will most probably miss them.

He got paid a lot more than he deserved at Arsenal, i won't say i was glad when he went, but in retrospect his departure really didn't affect us that much.
