If Cesc leaves and we do not spend money on a proper ready made replacement, we are doomed next season. We won't be able to keep up with Chelsea and United.

Wenger didn't spend and most probably he won't. But yet he will come out saying that Arsenal is in good shape :)
Which is true if you really thought about it. Every year they keep selling more and more players yet they keep finishing top 3-4 in the league as always (which is more or less their goal). They'll qualify for the next round of the CL as always and see where will they go from there.

So nothing will change really, even if wenger did sell the whole team this summer....

Barcelona are having enough of a dilemma to solve with the Ibra/Villa case, to plunge into another, even more complicated one, by buying Cesk now ! He will stay for an year more..

I think they are looking to replace Xavi as he is getting old. They get Cesc now and get him used tot he sytem then bring him in. Yaya Toure is also leaving.

I think Ibra will leave too. Its now or never.

Is there any doubt? He did play for Galway afterall...
Hopefully he's either sent out on loan early in the season this time or else given some game time at Birmingham. Last season, he was loaned to Middlesboro for the last few games after spending most of the season with Birmingham and only making 2 appearances.

He has serious talent. He just needs to bulk up a bit.

I heard that Wolves are buying Steven Fletcher from Burnley for £7.5m plus the loans of Wayne Hennessey and Chris Iwelumo. I suppose Burnley will go straight back up next year then, what a deal that would be.
