There was a friendly tonight between an Ireland XI managed by Trap and a selection of under 23 players from the League of Ireland. Paul McShane was playing RB for the senior team and by all accounts got absolutely raped by a part-timer called Billy Dennehy.

McShane is such a joke of a player. I honestly don't see how he has made it to the level that he has.

It wouldn't be like that, though.

I'd guess this deal will be for about £40-45m, so would you want ~£40m or ~£25m + Toure?
If that was the case, i'd definitely take the cash.

I'm not sure Wenger would be too fond of the idea of playing both Song and Yaya in the same midfield.

I personally would like to see that happen, first because it would add more protection to our defense, it would more steel to our midfield, and we'd have a player who is capable of winning the ball high up the pitch. Another reason is because i've seen Yaya in Monaco and with his NT and he's always been used as a box to box midfielder, i think he's better playing that role and i think it would be perfect if we had him, Song and Cesc in midfield.

so before fergie joined they were what the bari/atalanta of england? yeah nobodies

They still won a couple of cups in the 80's before Fergie joined them and were finishing in the top half of the league.

They were shite for most of the 70's, though, and were relegated at one point.

Obviously, the had a couple of great teams in the 60's.

I don't get why Arsenal is even negotiating about price for Cesc, £40m is the least money they should take.

Being a Man Utd youth player seems to give the appearance that you must be good, when most of them are actually shite.
