I meant by having a professional footie team in your town.
Meh.

It's just the way it is in Europe.

mmh, more because of their fan base since its a team with no pedigree there was no man u 20 years ago, k make that 25 :p
They've been one of the biggest teams in England for ages, even if they weren't much good for quite a while before Ferguson joined them.

They may only have become a 'global brand' in recent years.

I stand up for any team I feel is being incorrectly criticised.

As it happens, that happens more to Man Utd that any other English team in here.

Aiight, aiight. We'll see, but Weasley has to agree too ;)
Definitely. Easy bet, easy money. Though there are doubts over whether Eduardo will stay next season.

This is true.

On another note, Cesc's move to Barcelona looks like its happening this summer. I hope we get a good sum for him, something above 40M, and i hope Wenger then invests that. It will be extremely tough to replace him though. So, yet another trophyless season i guess

Wenger will just use Nasri in Cesc position and stick with Rosicky and Arshavin outside on the flanks with Diaby and Song next to Nasri with RVP ahead of them. :lol2:

We also need a top quality winger if we sell Cesc, Gourcuff isn't going to suffice. A goalkeeper and a midfielder are extremely important too. If we sell Cesc we're going to have to make 4 top quality signings.

With the transfer market as it is. Making 4 top quality signings with 40 million is impossible.

It wouldn't be like that, though.

I'd guess this deal will be for about £40-45m, so would you want ~£40m or ~£25m + Toure?
