No but the sudden obsession with them around forums is worrying and how much their players earn is rather sad. Especially when most just pluck out numbers from thin air to back their illogical arguments up.

Oh wait I dont want to be carded again best take retarded out of that sentence.

To be fair it's not from thin air, many mentions of his wages in the British media (you can see it on sites now) have his wages down as £185,000 basic rising to £220,000 with bonuses. To be honest I don't think that is going to be far off, even Toure admitted he was on a lot of money.

How do they know?

They dont plain and simple.

All footballers earn alot of money but I can hardly believe Toure will be the second/third highest paid player in Europe. That ridiculous and again media fantasy.

Ok so I won't believe any wage or transfer fees reported on the internet from now on because I haven't personally seen the contract.

I think ridiculous will perfectly sum up Man City's financial outlay come September 1st.

Yep.

Still their owners are wealthy enough.

Don't you bad mouth the guy in my avatar!!! :andy2:

you don't support your own NT(disagree) so you won't care, but it looks like he will accept France's call up, too bad for Poland.

On a more serious note, if he's French why shouldn't be play for them? Born in France, never played for a Polish club. We already had a couple of guys like that in the NT and even that didn't get us anywhere.

We see nationality differently here. But ya, by your(Western) standards i guess he's French.

There was a similar case, Lille's Ludovic Obraniak, who initially chose France but then saw that he wasn't going to get any chance soon, so he went for Poland.

At least Acquafresca would have been far less preposterous, cause he apparently speaks the language and knows the country pretty well even if he's never lived there.

But to throw your lasso around someone just because of his name, who has no relation to the country otherwise? That's absurd.

I don't like that logic. It would mean that i'm not Libyan. :disagree:

So because my country didn't(doesn't) have a good enough standard of living for my parents, i have no right to call myself Libyan?

All my cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents live there, i go there every summer. I speak Arabic in a Libyan dialect, my Mother cooks Libyan food. My great grandparents(and some of my parents uncles) fought the Italian occupation. But all that means nothing according to your logic, as i've never lived there, so i can't call myself Libyan.
