Nani is way too important for this ManU. All their chances in CL are gone with his injury and if Arsenal weren't known chokers I'd have said that ManU lost the EPL too with this injury.
In any case, it doesn't look good for United.

Daniel Taylor on Twitter: "Jamie Carragher waited outside MUFC dressing room to apologise to Nani for his studs-up challenge."

:touched: Always respected the man Carra.
Easy to do that when you won the game.

Any first-news on how long Nani will be out?
Some says he is done for the season.

Agreed, he's been our best player all season, more important than Berbatov and Rooney, in other words he's our most important offensive player.

Kinda true, but at least he did apologize. Someone like John Terry wouldn't have even cared.

As much of a dick as Terry is, I struggle to think of many dangerous tackles he has put in over the years.

Numbers show that too

EPL, CL, Cups
Nani 10 goals + 14 assists = 24
Berbatov 20 goals + 4 assists = 24
Rooney 8 goals + 11 assists = 19

Same numbers with Berba, but the difference is that many of Berba's goals were created by Nani and the same doesn't go vice versa, which makes Nani the most important offensive player for United so far this year.

That's probably because he's good tackler. :D Milner is lucky to be playing, did you see JT's tackle last season in the FA cup?

And Nani has scored/assisted in more games, Berba scored 11 of his goals in just 3 games.

The MOTM for me was Meireles, my God this boy is too fucking good . he cleared two goals off the line and he bossed the midfield.
His performance reminds me of Mascherano's against us in 2009

Exactly. There is no excuse for someone like Carragher, who is a good tackler, to put in a challenge like that one today.

It was not a good tackle.

The one thing I would say in Terry's defence on that on is that the ball was bouncing, so there was a reason for his foot to be at the height it was. He was lucky not to be sent off, though.

Carragher hit Nani not far below the knee when the ball was on the ground.
