Suarez is a best of a man. Congrats Liverpool, hopefully this defeat will make Fergie realize that we need new players in the summer.

Rafael Da Silva <3   Easily becoming my favourite player in world football.

You guys definitely need to replace a central midfielder.

Yep, we need at least two new central midfielders. Scholes and Giggs can carry the team anymore, Carrick is average, although he was decent today, and both Fletcher and Anderson are too inconsistent.

Looks like Nani will be out for a good time:

Damn, that didn't seem as bad when Nani was hopping around directly after the foul. Is it a break or just a bad cut?

Nothing confirmed yet. Nani was hopping around because of an adrenaline rush, he was raging after getting tackled, he stood up to shout and Carragher @ then fell down by himself.

Modric will solve lots of their problems. In Fergie's place I'd do everything to get him.

It's funny, even a bad injury doesn't stop him from falling to the ground after Gerrard touched his shoulder.
When I was 12 I broke my leg real bad. In the first 5-10 second after the fall (I fell from 3 meters height) I wasn't aware at all that it's broken and I stood up immediately. Then I couldn't take the pain anymore and I fell again. Very similar to how Nani reacted today. Dunno if he has something broken, though.

FUCK. That was bad. I take back what I said about him.
Can't blame you if you though (as everyone else) that he's play acting and making a meal out of it, because of his reputation as a diver. Even I thought he was just exaggerating.

He may have been exaggerating at first, before the pain set in. And of course even being actually injured no one believed him. A shame, no player deserves to be injured.

Exactly what i said. Feel for Nani as carragher should have been sent off for that. Shocking attempt to get the ball

Injuries is one of the harshest things that could happen to a footballer. I broke my metatarsal once and it's not a nice feeling, I just don't want to imagine the pain the likes of Ramsey, Eduardo and Hargreaves been through.

Daniel Taylor on Twitter: "Jamie Carragher waited outside MUFC dressing room to apologise to Nani for his studs-up challenge."

:touched: Always respected the man Carra.
