I can't say my team deserve much at this point.

Need to change the team attitude and start playing like they give a shit. Also a 4-4-2 with speedy movement would be an upgrade from the standing -2-3-1 we're currently playing.

1 point less and 2 matches more than City, with only 9 matches left. Not looking good for Liverpool. Even Juve are in better situation right now (due to having weaker rivals for the 4th place).

With this season's form, even in serie A you'd have fought for the 4th place.
But the difference is that you'd have won it if you played in Italy.

Not really. Especially if we get a Europa Cup spot. The media are really overplaying the importance of the CL spot. It's far more important for our board to attract outside investment and steer the club toward a majority ownership that doesn't involve Gillet or Hicks (which they are close to doing).

While I'm sure Gerrard and Torres have been frustrated with the season they've had, it's not like the club has done them wrong by any stretch. Both were unlucky to be injured and Gerrard really hasn't gotten going yet. If both stay fit they'll play for their nations at the World Cup and I believe that can revive their spirits to come back and challenge for the league title next season.

Another one for you, if Rafa Benitez leaves the club in the summer can you see him trying to entice Torres to join up with him at the club he chooses?

Depends on which club he chooses. Remember, we turned down City's 70 million pound offer for Torres last January. It's gonna cost a lot for us to let him go. Torres is in the middle of a 5 year contract even if he were to attempt to force a buy out, it would be considerable. Real Madrid, Inter (I doubt he would go to Italy), and Chelsea are the only teams I could see being able to afford Torres and Torres agreeing to the transfer.

Then again, I don't see Benitez leaving. Unless he chooses to.
