Where does that leave us where? Don't understand your question. If you mean in the tournament, that could mean playing someone in the second round, of course.

Busy with life here, Chief. Can't wait for summer as this winter is killing me.

And credit to you for seeing the problem in our width. Last summer you were saying how we should get a winger as the lack of width is going to hurt us. You know your stuff (aside from wanting Del Piero to not take free kicks :) )

Well, it wasn't a stroke of genius, as can be seen that every team that play Juve (Except the daft Ajax) stifle the midfield and therefore the options Juve have.

DP should take free-kicks, but not all of them, as he was for a long time without effect. Let Diego share the responsibility.

No, we should have gotten better fullbacks because of our weakness on the wings and due to our probable shift in formation since Diego was probably going to join.

Wingers would allow Diego greater freedom, as it would open the field up and give him more room to turn, move in and the options to either spread the ball wide, directly forward, or best of all to run at the oppositions defenders.

Give me a team with good/great wingers over one with wing backs , any-day.

Quality goal by Modric.
Yup, one of the best I've seen of him.
Not just the goal, but it's really great watching Modric and Kranjcar combining so well.
Who said that there is no place for both of them in Tottenham? :p
This is the way we should play, just watch how they play the ball on the ground just simple passes between the players creates so much opportunities to score while having a good LB like Bale insures some well done crosses.

While all the team is back defending when Everton is on the counter, only Roman stays at the other half of the field. Simply genius by Harry Redknapp.

Fred must be furious now :D

Everton are one back from a Gomes error, he had 3 of those today.

Spurs looking shaky after Huddleston substitution :scared:

Gomes saved a one-on-one chance for Pinear, a Palacios error this time..

Everton clearly playing their game while Spurs rely on the Counter.

Donavan missed a clear cut opportunity to put Everton level from a Pienaar cross when the goal was empty, yet he shot it just wide.
