Doesn't change the fact to be honest. You say Rooney is being overrated by English people and media and I say that if Real or Barca spend around 100M for him, it means that people out of England too believe that he's an extremely invaluable player.
Not necessarily, marketing plays a big role in these things and sometimes media hype might increase a player's price. Barca paid around 70 million for Ibra (40 + etoo who was priced at around 30 mil) so does Ibra really deserve that kind of money ?!

But still i think that Rooney is one of the few english players who are genuinely good. "If" england ever gonna win any trophy in the coming years i believe he'll play a "major role" in that.

I never said Rooney deserves such a crazy money. I was just saying that it's not true that the English are the only ones who rate Rooney.

I used to hate his guts, but I love his style of play, too much I must say. The pure definition of the striker that I would love to have in my team. Defends and Attack at the same time, resists on the fields, hardworker, can play in two more positions and isn't into pony, he does what is necessary on the field.

What exactly? Conquer mediocre Serie A and flop later?

Rooney is one hell of a player and someone who'd more pay off from every point of the view.
That is a bit too harsh on Kaka I think, at that time he certainly was the best player on the planet, he almost singlehanded won the CL for Milan.

He was pure force in Europe not only in Serie A.

Nah, I just think some people overrate him. If La Liga doesn't suit him then I don't know what will.
You can't say that it doesn't suit him. Other ballon d'or winners, like Zidane or Nedved, also needed time when they switched teams.
I'm 100% sure that he'll get better and better in Real. Perhaps he'll even play a bigger role than Ronaldo if Real win the CL or make the final this year.

I even heard they are looking to sell him already.

His injury problems have stopped him from settling in Madrid, like it would to any player adapting to a new country and club. Some hernia problem which will affect him for the rest of his career.

Whatever he does in Madrid won't make his time at Milan worse anyway, he was still one of the best 5 players of the last decade. I don't see why he'd have to prove anything to anyone at club level anymore.

I don't think that is likely. Ronaldo is a monster of a player, and imo he has always been better than Kaka.

An overreaction worthy of juventuz.

Of course he struggles when playing CF.
I'd understand if he was trying and his attempt wasn't paying off. I also did my best not to blast him after his horrid display against United. But two games in a row being the worst player in the pitch is too much. In both games he was extremely selfish and seemed like he wanted nothing from the match other than to try to score a wonder goal. He was also the most player that lost the ball.

All season long he has been rather inconsistent, and even in his good games he doesn't influence the game a lot over the period of 90 minutes, but he comes up with a moment or two of magic, and everybody forgets his overall performance.

Overpaid, overrated, lazy Russian faggot. fuck him.

Get on the phone to Arsene and suggest a Giovinco-Arshavin swap deal, then.
