I just watch the news in my local TV that almost all English club are made loss in 2009 with Man City loss 90 mill Pounds, MU second, Chelsea third, and Liverpool in fourth with loss over 30mill Pounds.. And Arsenal is the only big clubs who get profit which almost 30 mill Pounds profit.. Wenger is a genius i think, he can bring a good football for the team, nurture talent, and still give an big amount of profit for the team

I still have my doubts about Arsenal's budget.

I think it's actually bigger than is being let on and Wenger isn't spending as much as he is allowed to.

With the budget he is operating with and with the squad he has, i very much doubt any other manager would have been able to do a better job.
Hmm. I think that's where your wrong, Fred. You see, Wenger has the money to make a huge investment if he wants to. It's just that he chooses not to.

No that's more to do with Stan Kroenke's takeover fuckery than Wenger's budgeting.

Estudiantes and former Lazio midfielder Juan Sebastian Veron has revealed how he has rejected the overtures of Man City boss Roberto Mancini.

The 34-year-old Argentinian, who played under Mancini while at Inter, is enjoying something of a renaissance back home and has received a number of tempting offers to return to Europe.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Mancini called Veron and offered him €8m to join the Blue side of Manchester.

Veron has just been named the South American Footballer of the Year by Uruguay's El Pais.

“I have done it for my family, but also because I decided to continue my career with Estudiantes, a job that I would like to respect,” Veron concluded.

City reportedly offered Estudiantes £7.5m for the former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder but obviously to no avail.

How do you guys know that though?

Point is, we do not know how much he really has. So all we can do is evaluate his performance based on what he spends instead of what he actually has.
