wouldnt take it.....

chiello wont go, i think he is commited to juve and in reality its not worth us selling for a ridiculous price as there arent many good young CB going around, we would have to buy 2 of them if we sold giorgio...wont happen.

Yup, I agree. I would say he's priceless for us at this point in time. The only real top class defender we have. We can't even hold off Catania without him. Would be a disaster is he was sold. I'm hoping his love for the club is what will keep him here.

If they offer us 50 million we should done deal that shit.

We can get fix our defense with that much money.
40 million + Kompany would be a good deal.
Won't happen.

Actually, you never know with City. They hold the British transfer records, paying almost 54m eur for Tevez and almost 50m eur for Robinho, but I can't see them paying more than 25-30m eur for a defender who doesn't play for an EPL team.

You have to realise anything is possible with a team that choses to pay £24m for Joleon Lescott.

True, I would hate to see Chiellini leave, but he is one of the few we can make big money out, and with big I mean 40 million+.
We shouldn't let him go for less then what I said, but with that amount of cash, we could surely strengthen the squad on several places in the defence and try to get rid of some of the average players that we have now.

I agree, however I just don't trust him after seeing his weird formations and constant tinkering with the team. His transfers leave alot to be desired also.
Actually lately his biggest fault has been stubbornly sticking to the tactical setup and formation that has now been found out by most EPL teams.

The main thing that bothers me about Rafa is the ridiculous amount of money he has spent on average players.
Now this is certainly true. He certainly isn't one to spend wisely.

Nothing is a bit harsh. He's starting with a less settled team and a few points back. That should keep him at bay.

That said, Rafa may not see out the season (and there's someone worth firing Ferrara for).
FUCK No, Hope to God he never gets anywhere near Juve.

TRANSFER: Sky Blues sign Deegan
Posted on: Mon 21 Dec 2009

COVENTRY City have agreed terms to sign 22-year-old midfielder Gary Deegan from Irish Premier Division champions Bohemians.

The Dublin-born midfielder will join the Sky Blues on a three-and-a-half-year deal starting from January 4, 2010.

Deegan netted five goals in 34 appearances for Bohemians and also represented them in their 2009 UEFA Champions' League campaign which ended with a 2-1 aggregate defeat to Red Bull Salzburg.
