Catholics are far worse imo. Protestants dont tell the poorest and Aids ridden countries not to use sexual protection.
No but they are responsible for the suffering in Africa due to colonialism, but to be honest I don't want to argue about which is worse beucase they're both retarded.
Have you ever been to the US?
Twice, Seattle and New York.

Then you must have met every single soccer fan in the US.
The vast, vast majority of the ones I met we disciples of Steven Cohen and Kenny Hassan, I think the Americans here will understand now if my impression of them has been warped.

I'd like to point out that I've haven't met everybody in Ireland but I can still speak on them....

Yeah, only the idiots take what they have to say seriously, but I wouldn't say that the vast majority, as in 90%, follows them. It's probably only about 60% of the entire American fanbase.

So essentially, you're saying the vast majority of us over here are idiots.
I meant retards in the way that they carry on about Football over there, for example look at World Soccer Daily, that show would not be given 5 minutes airtime over here, it's attroucious and it's one of the most if not the most popular Football Shows on their, the whole attitude to the game that majority seem to have with regard to obsession over stats and feigning expert knowledge etc.

At least I have decency to practice my feigning of knowledge.

Basically I find the attempted Americanisation of a sport that is superior to all your sports retarded.

that's what I meant.

I've never even listened to that show.

But what you need to understand is that to gain more fans, as in folks that have not been exposed to much soccer in their lifetime, they need to "Americanize" it in some way or form. I'm not exactly sure what you mean here, but if you're once again talking about how the MLS is set up, of course they'll use the playoff system because all sports here do. That's just the way it is. It's a marketing decision that while I may not enjoy it, I understand why they do follow through with it. I find it more sensical to try to acquire more fans for a growing league instead of just doing what some Europeans want.

Lots of stuff about the way the Prem markets itself makes me want vomit, but I do understand why they do it the way they do.

Ireland has a 'play-off' type of thing aswell, I was talking about the americanisation of the 'football culture' for example, I understand tlaking about TD yards w/e in the NFL and batting averages in MLB but appling such statisical breakdown to football is detestible.

I'll say two things that we're said to me a fait bit and it makes my blood boil:

GoalTender
They're strong in the offensive sector

It's GoalKeeper and they are strong going forward/ in the final third :agree:

Sorry if I offended any of the colonials on here.

Not to mention the US play off mimics the European aggregate system.

You have to understand that football is a relatively new sport in the US, as far as it's popularity. So most Americans are just beginning to understand it. Basically you heard a lot of hockey jargon as that and lacrosse are the closest sports to football here. You'll have to excuse the ignorance, as I wouldn't expect you to know the ins and outs of lacrosse if you came to the US and attended a match.

And I can assure you, Irish, that the folks that actually know the sport, play it and follow the world game use the proper terminology. It seems to me you mostly met with folks that were new to club football or else have not really played the sport themselves.

All my coaches said final third, the keeper, or the touchline or end line.

Seems like a case of mistaken identity, like Irish people being ginger.
