Well I think we'll get Johnson since his only competition is Arbeloa. Johnson would have to compete with Bosingwa and Ivanovic at Chelsea and he wants to make the WC team. That won't happen being a back up. But you never know, "Chelsea could just show him the money" and then we're fucked. I'm still pissed at Chelsea and Man City for basically driving up the price. Props to Portsmouth for starting the bidding war.

On another note, why did Torres have to go and give Owen props?
I saw Arbeloa played as LB for Spain in Spain - South Africa match.. Is Benitez planning to play Johnson in RB and Arbeloa in LB for Liverpool?

Striker and striker again.. they have a lot of striker, Evans, Caceido, Mwaruwari, Bojinov, Robinho, Vassel.. Actually they need defender if they want to compete the big 4. Learn from MU and Chelsea, they based the team from a good defense first. It reminds me of Secco though

No I don't think so. Arbeloa has played left, right, and center in Liverpool's defense and has done very well. I think Arbeloa will play a little on the left, but I don't think it will be a permanent thing. Now that Johnson is official we have two capable players at our right and left defense. Insua and Aurellio out left with Johnson and Arbeloa on the right. Hopefully Real Madrid don't offer anything above 10 million (british) for Arbeloa because we'd be nuts not to take such a deal.

Does this mean Bellamy is dropped. Because i can't see any way where both he and Santa Cruz can play together. City either play with two upfront, in which case it would probably be Santa Cruz and Robinho. Or they play three upfront in which case it would probably be Robinho, Santa Cruz and SWP.

A case of way way way too many forwards, at it's inevitable that Bellamy isn't going to remain silent about not getting sufficient playing time. That's when the party begins.
