Well I hope for a tie and both teams to suffer hamstring injuries to all 11 starters. But that is unrealistic.

I hope Chelsea wins because I believe they are the weaker of the two teams. Considering we've already beaten both teams. But we beat Chelsea at the Bridge and the Mancs at Anfield. Man U falling away in the the standings makes a loss to them in Manchester easier to stomach. In addition I think we can beat Chelsea at Anfield and boost our lead against them. If that helps.
That makes sense. Not to forget Man Utd have two games on hand.

Time will tell if he can pull it off.

Only Mourinho has managed to match Ferguson in mind games in his time in England.

It is a wee bit early for them for them to have a major effect.

What I would say is that if Fergie gets involved in a war of words with Benitez, it means he really believes Liverpool are a serious threat.

Oh no doubt. That's why I love Rafa calling him out at this point. He basically called Fergie a baby who cries until he gets his way. In addition it takes the media focus off the players which is always a good thing, especially with the injuries we've had and Stevie G running around punching people in the face.

The Gerrard thing won't effect Liverpool if the club handles it properly. Arsenal still won the league the season Tony Adams was jailed for Drink Driving, because the club turned it to it's advantage by making the team a tighter unit with an 'us against the world' mentality.

And there is no doubt that Fergie is very good at getting his own way.

Rafa is right, Fergie gets away with more than other managers.Football needs characters but it also needs rules.

I'm ofr Liverpool this year purely becuase they have succeeded with gerrard and torres on seperate and similar occasions and have started to develop a soul and lose their utter jamyness alla 2005, still murdering bastards though....

Freddy boy, how's Eduardo doing? Has he, or will he, made the benh soon?
He hasn't made the bench yet. But he's played 45 minutes for the reserves already, and he passed with flying colors. Arsene recently said that he's fit to play, but that he doesnt want to risk throwing him in the mix just yet, after 9 months on the sidelines. But you can expect him to be on the bench in the coming weeks.

I can't wait for Eduardo to come back, he offers us something different, he's the most natural finisher in our squad, thats for sure.
