Defoe at Liverpool would be a disaster. He's a good player, but a top club would ruin him.Plus he wont be a starter at Liverpool, whereas he could be one at some midtable club.I'm divided over wether he should make the move back to white hart lane though.Yes he's been there,he's familar with the club, but everyone cant pull of a Klinsmann.

I'm divided on the matter myself. I don't think he's capable of playing the lone striker role which is the system Tottenham are adopting right now. He excels when playing with a partner ala Crouch in Pompey.

He's been injured, half fit, then injured again. Everyone knew Degen would be a gamble which is why we only took him on a free transfer. Hopefully he can make fitness and show something over the second half of the season or maybe Darby can step up. But having Arbeloa play every single match isn't a good idea.
:agree:

If Liverpool fail to improve their squad they will only finish 3rd.

Needed: LB, Defensive midfielder: winger.

I would add another striker also. Defoe.
They don't need a left back. Aurelio is more than good enough. And Insua looks like an able deputy.

Thanks for the info mate, hope he fails miserably now.
:p

You're welcome.

Wow, i didn't know this. Against Fenerbahce he played behind the strikers as an AMC and he played as a winger on the other matches i saw from him. But not a Ryan Giggs type of winger. More of a Giovinco type of winger. He seemed to me like someone who was forced to play on the wing but prefered to play more central.
I would have never guessed that he plays even as a full back.

He has a very good technique indeed, but even though he's technical he seemed much more mature than other similar players (Nani, Quaresma etc) and he looks much more like a team player.
Yeah,he started playing as a left back and he was there for some time.

I agree,if he continues playing like this he will he something special.

Yeah Rafa has already said he's going to give the kid a look. I saw the goal he scored against Celtic, but that's about it.
He may have improved a bit, but he spent most of his year in Scotland just running with the ball until he lost it.

Jakub Blaszcykowski.I think you were already linked with him in the past.
Błaszczykowski. Excellent player, the biggest Polish talent of last decade I'd say. We should have look for a Camo's backup as well where Kuba fits perfectly our needs.

I don't think they would play him upfront on his own. I think they're only playing that system until they sign another striker.
