And people wonder why Madrid only gave Ramos a 6 month contract. :agree:
It wasn't his call. Transfers at Spurs were handled by a director of football type. As I understand it, the decision was a purely financial one from a fairly greedy board, not a football one by the manager at all.

Tottenham is probably the most idiotic club in the Prem, followed by the Jordies.

What?? I thought Berbatov wanted to play for ManU for a long time and R. Keane was a Liverpool fan since his boyhood days. All this time I thought the players forced the trasfers when it was the director. Damn!

Berbatov indeed forced his transfer. Keane i'm not so sure.

But they knew he didn't want to play for them since the start of the transfer window, they should have sold him earlier so they could find a replacement.

Both players were happy to move. Berbatov was pushing hard, Keane less so. Spurs were happy to take the money and run though - they collected tens of millions in transfer fees and then didn't cough up to replace those two.

That was a complete stupid move on tottenham's behalf,i mean had they sold berba earlier & found a replacement they wouldnt have had that terrible start to the season. Its just amazing how Berba's attitude rocked team morale at tottenham.

They couldn't find a decent replacement that's why they wanted to hang on to him. Is that not a possibility you're considering?
Why would a club hang onto player that has no desire to represent their colours? It causes all sorts of choas in & out of the changing room. The longer a club holds onto a player, more resentment sets in.

They had more than enough time to find a suitable replacement,if im not mistaken tottenham didnt want to send berba to man utd as they see utd as their opposition.

Well deserved imo, Ince has been horrible for Blackburn. Blackburn used to be a tough nut to crack at home, i can't remember the last time they were beaten at home by all 4 of the big teams. I'm positive it hasn't happened in the last 3 years though.
